Wingate by Wyndham Cedar City

Honestly everything else was great. The woman that checked us out in the morning was super personable and kind and handled the issue great. Though she couldn't do anything about it herself, she followed through with taking it to her manager and I was refunded within a few days. I don't know if staff, maintenance, or facilities has been changed or not , but the stay this time (as Wingate) was much better than the last time we stayed when it was still the Clarion.

There were two young people at the front desk when we checked in that were more interested in watching the Matrix on TV than getting us checked in. They ended up double charging us.

The location was easy to get to off of the 515. Parking was good, but I could see if the hotel was completely full, it might be a little tight. Room was good size with a nice size refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable, and the AC worked great. Breakfast was good and a lot of choices.

They were doing some remodeling so I totally get the bit of dust, etc. Can't really think of anything else, so as a stretch, they could have had more than 1 garbage can in the room.

We were super jetlagged from returning from Europe and then turning around in 8 hours a driving to southern Utah for a family wedding. We drove in to find the place swarming with 11 year-old soccer boys and several tailgating groups partying. My heart sank as our room was nearly above the pool. However once we got to the room life was good. With the AC and the bathroom fan on, we slept without hearing a thing in the lovely, lovely sheets. All was good with the world. The woman that managed the breakfast area was friendly, efficient and attentive. Still stings at how much a room costs now.

The property and our room was pretty clean. Staff is pretty friendly. Free Breakfast was not bad.

There was no automatic house keeping while we where there. I am used to having someone come in everyday or even once every other day to make sure everything is stocked up such as toilet paper and clean towels and the beds being made but that did not happen.

Breakfast was great, coffee was excellent! The options for waffles, juice, cereal appeals to everyone. Great dining area and comfortable booths. Staff was friendly and helpful.

It was only a cleaning issue. The area behind the hot plate was dirty. Otherwise everything else looked clean and well kept.

I stay here when I come to cedar city. I went to stay somewhere else and was treated to badly (Motel 6) at the Wingate they are always accommodating and polite I’ll never stay anywhere else now I’ve found them

There isn’t enough area to walk your dogs when they are dog friendly

Staff was great. Lobby and rooms were nice. Quiet area.

it’s a motel, does face outside. Bathroom shower was kind of gross. Shower curtain had mold. They appear to be in the middle of a remodel and a lot of unfinished stuff but I’m sure it will be nice when there done.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Good location and value. Pet friendly.

Looks a bit rundown from last visit but they're in the middle of repainting etc. Main problem for us is there is really no good place for dogs to relieve themselves...

Considering that we are still under covid guidelines, it was the best sack lunch breakfast we have had.

The first room we were given had a broken doorframe and couldn't be opened or closed safely. However, we were quickly given another room that was fine. The only real problem was that we couldn't adjust the volume on our tv, and it was too loud for us to use.

The beds were comfortable and there were good food options. The pool was pleasant and the hot tub was nice.

The waffle iron for breakfast was set wrong so the waffles didn't cook right. Also the orange juice mixture was watered down.
