We rented a car from the airport. We planned to book a one night stay then drive the next few days to Yellowstone national Park. The rental car was crucial to us for this trip. The next morning, we found out our car’s battery was dead. We cannot thank the staff from the Hyatt Place enough. Mr. John and Robby, the manager and the staff, took their time helping us jump start the car. It has saved us a lot of time, relieved our anxiety and they have shown us their generosity in their kind acts. Thank you so much!

Perfect location in downtown SLC--close to trax, the Gateway (where we attended a beer fest), Jazz arena, shopping, restaurants, etc. Super close to one of the best restaurants in SLC--Red Iguana! The room felt like new--very clean and updated with plenty of space. Delicious breakfast with a good selection, and a clean lobby/breakfast/bar area. Parking can be tricky in downtown SLC, but this has its own gated parking lot behind the hotel. Trax is also right there, so you don't even necessarily need a car to stay here--you could easily take green Trax from the airport and then use the Trax or walk to get around on a trip here. Overall, I'm happy with this hotel and would recommend it. Also pet-friendly--my dog enjoyed his stay too!

The staff were all very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and modern and room was great - we loved the layout with the sectional sofa and wall separation between bed and sofa. The proximity to the (free!) lightrail train was great; we used the arena station one block away to go to the airport, the fairpark and restaurants every day.

We wished for a better selection of snacks to purchase.

I like how big the rooms are and also how close it was Vivint Arena. I liked that there seemed to be a separate sitting area for the couch and desk.

I think that the bathroom should have the sink inside of it instead of having to come out of the bathroom to wash your hands. Also, the room seemed a little on the cold side. We had 2 queen size beds but the outlet was on the one side of the bed and the other bed didn't have any outlets near it. There was also a wet spot next to the ac/heating unit.

Room was very quiet. Nice breakfast even with the prepackaged option. Close to everything

Comfortable and relaxed hotel, well-sized rooms, comfortable bed, nice pool, sufficient parking on the property, breakfast was good, staff is very friendly.

You can see here and there that the hotel has been in business a while. Furniture looks like it could use a refurbishment. But it’s a minor detail in the overall great experience we had.

We couldn't be happier with our choice for hotels. It's was the first time staying in Salt Lake City for us and we were attending a show at the Complex which was just a short walk. The location was perfect! It was just my daughter and I and we felt totally safe at this hotel. Staff was super sweet and unloading our car was a breeze out front. Parking on site for $10 a day was well worth it. There are many restaurants right next to this hotel and a luxury cinema. Breakfast was very good and they had many options. Our room was very clean and spacious. Let me say that I am very paticular about cleanliness and I had zero complaints which says alot (lol)The beds were comfortable as well. We will definitely stay here again. The manager was very nice and helped accommodate a last minute additional night. I would definitely suggest this hotel if you are looking to stay downtown. The local tram transit also runs right by this hotel so great if you don't want to walk.

One minor hiccup was the lack of hot water in the shower but the manager was very understanding and accommodating. They are quick to address issues which speaks of their hospitality and standards. Also, add brighter lights in the bathroom for makeup application for us women if possible.

Everytime we had the air conditioner on I had really bad allergy symptoms. We would turn it off and I'd be good. I think maybe it needs a new filter

The beds were comfy. Room was spacious.

The pillows were awful, and the food place downstairs could only sell alcohol with food, which is understandable. The problem was there was not a single gluten-free item to order, such as fries. There was a sports bar near but we didn't want to walk after a long concert.

We had a small family trip with our one year old, he completely loved the room. He couldn’t stop dancing and running around. Everything was clean and so comfortable that our little family felt right at home. Thank you for such great service and amazing comfort.
