Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek

The room was beautiful and very modern! We had a great view (8th floor). It really felt like being on vacation. I didn't realize we were across the street from the convention center when I booked but was nice to be close to everything. Paying for parking and no continental breakfast was the only downside. Staff was courteous and helpful. Beds were comfy and hotel was immaculate. My girls were excited there was a Starbucks in the lobby. Enjoyed our stay!

This hotel is very clean, close to everything in downtown Salt Lake, parking on site along with a shopping mall, staff is friendly. Great views from a clean modern room.

The shower does not have a curtain or any sort of glass blocking the water, so it makes a mess. The water pressure was terrible, and had to flush the toilet multiple times.

The staff at the front desk and management were very helpful, courteous and professional. The location of this Marriott (right across the street from the convention center) was very helpful. The "Free" Hot Chocolate in the lobby was a nice touch.

One of the bartenders at the lobby bar was very rude and unprofessional.

The breakfast was fine. I had a voucher from friends who couldn’t use one of theirs so I had the cold portion of the breakfast. Staff was customer oriented & friendly.

The one person working in the bar was not enough. I understand Covid and people short staffed. But she was working as fast as she could and it was overwhelming. The good and drinks were very good. She kept her cool and was professional and courteous with a full bar and lounge area.

The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and we had no issues with our cards working or anything. This location is in great walking distance to Vivint Arena so we didn't have to worry about driving after our concert. We had a great one night stay. We didn't eat at the resturants or try out any of the amenities there so I can't comment on those. We will definitely be recommending to others and coming back again ourselves!

The only thing that we didn't like was the parking garages height limit. My mother's 2020 Ford Ranger was close to the max limit so it was a bit worrisome in that aspect. We felt the parking garage was more safe for her truck though the just a normal open parking lot, so give and take! If you have a smaller vehicle you will be just fine!

Wifi was confusing as I was not sure if I was being charged for it or not. I would like simple directions on how to log in with password in the room on arrival.

Location was perfect for our convention! Would totally come back. Close to many restaurants and even a grocery store.

Bummed there was no pool/hot tub. Felt parking was a bit high for those staying at hotel.

The location of this hotel can't be beat – it's centrally located right by City Creek Center and the Convention Center, and within walking distance of multiple bars and restaurants. Every member of the staff I interacted with, from the valet to the front desk, was extremely friendly and helpful, which was a welcome relief after a long day on the road.

With a nice localization and a welcoming staff, this hotel has everything you need to have a good time

the hotel restaurant is calm and relaxing but the menu is a little too simple (for the evening meal). Breakfast buffet is limited (best to order a la carte)

I thought the price for this hotel was excellent. That helps everything to be even better. Friendly staff and comfortability with the cleanliness was impeccable. Loved my stay at the Salt Lake Downtown City Creek hotel.

the wifi only being free to Bonvoy members, even as membership being free, it was a hassle for someone like myself that is not so computer literate. However I do like Marriot, so I will probably search Marriot first on my future hotel searches. I am very pleased with my stay. Oo It would have been nice if the restaurant was more available.
