I researched many downtown hotels below the $250/night price point, and this is the only one without a plethora of bad reviews. The reviewers were correct--this is a gem downtown! Check in was easy, parking is included and is as safe as it gets downtown. Our room was very clean and modern--not fancy, but really pleasant! It had a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave (also all very clean), which is nice and not always included in low-to mid priced hotels. There were plenty of good quality bath linens, and the Watkins bath products smell great! The room was quiet (10 th floor) and street noise was manageable, but I do wonder if the lower floors facing West Temple might be pretty noisy. The complementary breakfast was very good, with a variety of hot and cold foods. We would definitely choose this Holiday Inn Express again!

Location across the street from Salt Palace, where our convention took place, was exceptional. Breakfast was delicious and a very good variety of food was offered. Bed was really comfortable. Everything was very clean. Housekeeping was excellent.

Two people on different days at the front desk were dismissive and rude. When we checked in, the room type we booked and prepaid for was not available, and we were given a downgrade. The staff member was argumentative and at first refused to acknowledge the problem and told us we had to "deal with it." Finally, a different staff member took over and got us a comparable room (slight upgrade). We asked for an extra blanket on night 2 out of 5 and never got a response. The 4th night, we were happily provided with one immediately from a different staff member.

Beds were very comfortable , good water pressure, good breakfast included.

We couldn't find a temperature in the room between arctic cold and hot. Also housekeeping never came by to empty trash or take dirty towels, etc.

Great staff. Bed was very comfortable. Covered parking even though I had to pay extra for it. Very convenient to the places I needed to be.

The hot tub could have been a bit hotter. The breakfast was good but sort of lacking in variety - always scrambled eggs or omelets. The eggs were expertly made though. The room needed a small table and chairs since the room had a microwave and fridge but no where to really sit up to eat.

The location was fantastic! Very close to the convention we were in town for. Starting the day with the free continental breakfast was helpful. Housekeeping was excellent, entire facility was clean. Staff was very kind and accommodating.

More outdoor seating (benches, tables and chairs) would be nice. After being inside all day for meetings it would be nice to have a place to sit comfortably in the sun.

It was clean the only employee we saw was wonderful, the room was comfortable.. and that we were able to have our car on the property

I would like to have had an ice machine near the floor I was on. I never could find one and I didn't want to get off on every floor to find ice. Nor did I want to go down to the first floor to find any. It was very overpriced. We shouldn't incur a separate cost for a vehicle to be able to stay on the property and to be secure. Isn't that what we're trusting your company for? In all our many years of traveling we have never had to pay a separate fee to have our car park at the motel we stayed at. I love the fact that it was locked in though, thank you for that. We are frequent visitors to Holiday inn and this is only comparing it to all the others that we've experienced as far as not paying separately to park your car.

Great breakfast, many different choices and fruits. I was assigned to a room that had a weird smell, so I requested to be changed and they solved it without hesitation!!! The new room was extremely clean. The bed and the pillows were comfortable and soft. There were ice and soda machines in the floor, and a 24h little market which is really nice!!!

It was amazing and I probably choose the same hotel when I’m back there.

It was so clean! The room, the lobby, the breakfast area, and the pool were all clean and fully stocked with whatever was needed. The staff was friendly and helpful! Shoutout to Rosalie, she really help with our check-in and was so nice! The hotel was right next to the conference we were attending too!

I was so impressed with the comfort of the beds. Best rest I've had in a hotel ever. , The huge indoor pool and spa was incredible. The pool was 9 feet deep and there was even a sauna. The breakfast is the cherry on top. So many choices, fresh food for all types of diets, a large dining room. Wonderful job

The bathroom area was crowded. The staff not so friendly. And the parking costs money and it didn't state that when I made reservations.

The hotel is placed very close to downtown and temple square. Breakfast was rich, offering many possibilities, even a pancake machine. The hotel also has a gym, where I could exercise a bit to relieve the stress

The wifi of the hotel was sometimes not very reliable, especially on my phone. Also, at high floors there are some pigeons coming to your window and in the night I had quite a couple of jumps, especially at the beginning. In general, though, not a big deal.
