Dinosaur Inn & Suites

All of the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Any questions we asked, we received answers for in a positive way. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and much cleaner than most hotel pools I have seen at other hotels/motels, even though it is an outdoor pool (no hot tub). Breakfast was very good with lots of selection. Unlike most places you order your food from a server at a counter and they prepare your plate of selections. You can make your own waffles and drinks are self serve. The dining room was very clean and the food we had was pretty good. We very much enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when visiting Vernal.

The minor complaint is the lighting in the room. It certainly is not a deal breaker, but the room seemed a bit dark even with all the lights on.

Very clean room, especially the bathroom. I’m quite a picky person so was pleasantly surprised. Layout of our room was good & it was a good sized room. Vanity area was separate from the shower, sink & toilet with decent lighting. Room had two luggage racks for two guests’ suitcases! Wonderful! Only complaint would be that the pillows were kind of hard foam & one of the washcloths was greyish instead of white. Otherwise, our stay was great. Also, the restaurant next door, Antica Forma, has great food. Highly recommend it.

The staff was very friendly and inviting. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved having K-cups of coffee in the room. The two sinks in the room were fabulous. The water in the bathroom was nice and hot and had good pressure. We liked the dinosaur structure out front and that it was centrally located in Vernal, UT. Would we stay here again — Yes!

Two very minor issues (and should not deter anyone from staying at this hotel): One was getting the coffee service refreshed for the following day of the stay. However, this was very minor. Second, they have a very kind woman who serves guests certain parts of the breakfast while other parts are self-serve. However, this is really unnecessary and delays guests trying to eat quickly before heading out in the morning. It would be better if she could just refresh the items and make everything self-serve.

We loved this hotel!! The family suite was spacious and very comfortable. We especially liked that in addition to the three beds, there was also a sitting area and plenty of counter space. We've stayed in family suites before, and the space is completely filled with the beds - not here at Dinosaur Inn!! The bathroom was also huge and had a separate, additional sink outside the main bathroom. The pool was great, and the breakfast was SO delicious! We were a short drive from Dinosaur National Monument which was AWESOME! We'd absolutely return here and would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to others!

This is a charming older hotel complex that has been maintained beautifully, and decorated with beautiful hanging flower baskets. The young lady that checked us in was lovely and helpful and provided good recommendations for dinner. We were assigned to a one-level room at the back of the property which was very quiet. The room had been renovated recently, or at least it was in exceptional condition. It was clean and comfortable. Internet was reliable. We slept very well. The breakfast was exceptional, with a large variety of options, and very friendly and helpful breakfast room staff. Unique were the delicious cinnamon rolls! Vernal is a lively town, with a great variety of restaurants, and was well located to our visit to the Dinosaur National Monument.

Nothing. Dinosaur Inn and Suites exceeded our expectations in every category.

I liked everything about this hotel. I have stayed in many of the chains and I would put this hotel above all of them. I reserved it only knowing it was close to my destination. I was blown away by this family owned and well done facility. From the superb cleanliness and comfort of the room to the ample hot daily breakfast I have no complaints. Everyone we encountered was friendly from the owners throughout all the staff. I won’t stay anywhere else when I return to the area!

I have ZERO complaints about this place and that’s a rare occurrence when staying in a hotel😁

King room was very clean and spacious for two of us. The bed was comfortable with a variety of pillow types and soft sheets. The heater worked very well and we were plenty warm in the middle of the winter. The shower was very clean, water was hot and pressure was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and you could tell it was made fresh that morning. The location is in a great spot, walking distance to a few places to eat and a brewery with good food. At the time of our stay, the rate was comparable to the rest of the hotels in town and exceeded our expectations for the price point.

The only downside was that the fridge in the room was not cold, we tried to turn it down, but we ended up throwing away our leftovers.

I liked it all. Very clean. Even the mini fridge had no frost build up like some hotels. Comfy beds, Awesome Keurig for coffee (loved that) even a shoe mat at the door, blinds worked so well for keeping light out and the swimming pool is so clean and tidy. Felt better than going to a chain hotel . I will for sure be staying again!

Only complaint is the tiny mini fridge. I couldn't get any drinks in it and the holders on the inside of the door were missing. I went and bought a cooler for my items that needed to stay cold.

Very clean rooms! Plenty of space. Comfortable rooms. Decent breakfast, just need to add bacon to menu. Plenty of parking. Great value. Nice refrigerator. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff.

The only thing that could improve the stay was if there was a table that we could have sit to in the room to eat meals. Ended up using the little night stand to set plates on for kids which is a little harder to keep clean.

Clean comfortable facilities, an outdoor swimming pool with towels, spacious rooms, with 2 sinks, fridge (no freezer), microwave, coffee maker, iron, free parking and free hot breakfast (with many options and even waffles).  Friendly staff, good wifi, many channels on cable TV.

Minor things: we were too tired to exchange outdated towels (either ripped or smelly) , and breakfast was not fully self serve (had to wait in line to order items, which slowed us down a bit). But overall a great motel!
