Springhill Suites by Marriott Vernal

The property was conveniently located near Monument Valley. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Each person I interacted with was knowledgeable and welcoming. This was the type of place I’d like to stay again!

Some of the other guests were a little bit rude and pretentious. I find it troubling that guests in a hotel seem to lack the common courtesy one would expect when seeing others in the community setting, especially at the complimentary breakfast which was very nice.

The breakfast was good. The room is pretty. We appreciated the wall-like separation between the sitting area and the bed area.

The bathroom needs a better fan to control sound and odor, since it is directly open to the sleeping in living areas. The only problem we had was that the Jacuzzi was not working. We went across the parking lot to the other Marriott hotel and they allowed us to be in their Jacuzzi. The pool is also pretty small. Otherwise, everything was great.

Staff was kind, breakfast spread had a nice variety, enjoyed our experience.

No extra pillows in closets or room. I wish there was a hamper to put towels in the room or even a hamper outside the room for trash/clothing to have picked up since housekeeping does not come to every room every day. Hard to keep tidy.

We loved the separate shower and toilet rooms, how spacious and clean everything was, the modern design and decorating were beautiful. The staff were friendly helpful and seemed happy to work there. We loved the reading lights and over the bed lights and lamps, the automated shades, the doorbell. It was quiet and comfortable. If there were issues (phone wasn't plugged in right, batteries in remote were low and needed more toiletries) they were quick to respond and fix the issues as requested. We appreciated the checkout time being a little later so we didn't feel rushed to get out. It was nice to have a big couch for all of us to sit on. The side tables and desk area and all the shelves and storage were so nice and provided tons of storage. The toiletries were awesome!

We didn't like the eggs served at breakfast time and the options for breakfast were a little limited and not a lot of options of tv channels but other than that everything was exceptional!

Room was really nice, we got upgraded from a single queen and sofa to a double queen and sofa for no extra charge, thank you for that it helped my son sleep way better! The shower was super nice and relaxing as well.

Overall everything was really nice just a couple of little things. My opinion is that the TV could be upgraded so that you have a channel menu and dont have to flip through every single channel to see what is on. Also you can tell the towels are old and well used, they're rough on the skin and almost feel like sandpaper. Again we loved our stay but just a couple of small little things. Thank you!

The room was very comfortable, roomy, modern, and beautiful. The staff we met were extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very good.

The cable TV was terrible. My husband and I were tired and just wanted to watch some TV and unwind. The regular channels kept freezing. We tried twice to call the desk and no one answered. We were too tired to go down and find someone. That was the only negative. A hotel this beautiful and modern should have better cable.

Breakfast was okay, there was plenty of choices…I would like to see real eggs used or have a omelette machine would be nice..

The AC in the room needs a service done to it or it needs to be replaced…The fan wouldn’t stay running and it would shut and get get really stale in the room…I did let the front desk know about it at checkout…

Room floor plan is well designed; inviting and spacious.. Bed was comfortable. Pillows are nice. The room was very clean. No odors. The exercise room is well equipped. The pool is a bonus especially if traveling with children.

The property is centrally located. Easy to find with excellent parking. It was clear from the signage throughout the property that they are committed to cleanliness and slowing the spread of COVID-19. Our room was comfortable and clean. I mean really clean. It was nice to be able to feel safe during our entire stay at the property. The desk clerk who greeted me was very professional while being friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and included a small fridge/ freezer and a coffee maker (which we did not use). The bed was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend the property and would stay there again without hesitation.

I have no suggestions. I was very satisfied with my stay.

This place is very clean and nice, I would totally recommend. Bed was nice and we loved how the toilet was in a separate room from the shower.
