Rooms were clean and comfortable. First night we had kids knocking on our door for a bit but it only lasted a half hour. But, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and Jerry the cat was funny. We definitely would go again.

I At check-in the man was rude. He kept saying we had no reservation even though I had the booking slip in my hand. Then he tried to make me feel as if he did me this big favor by "moving" someone. I was ready to walk out but I dealt. I am glad I did because I never dealt with him again and everything else was fine.

The owner and staff were all so kind and helpful. The Inn was centrally located. The Crossroads food truck near the property was excellent! The room and bathroom were immaculate. The bedding was so very comfortable. They even had a variety of pillows to suit a variety of needs. We will definitely come back.

This place is a gem...found it because we quickly had to leave The Travel Lodge in Brattleboro because it was filthy, dangerous + not what was advertised. I wish I had booked The Black Montain Inn first! Amazing owners, location, comfortable rooms + a pool!

Owners were very friendly and accomodating. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was grab n go with coffee and tea, granola bars, fruits and pastries. The resident kitty, "James Bond" is pretty friendly and enjoys a little ear scratching. Also found the history of the hotel really interesting.

Outdoor walkways could have been a little cleaner, but its carpet, so I imagine that its difficult to keep that clean all day. It is an older hotel, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Only bag breakfast. Great selection. Coffee, tea, banana, oranges. Yogurt, coffee cake, granola bars and more. Room and bed were comfortable. Staff extremely friendly.

Larger bath towels. Outside railings for the 2 steps in between 1 st floor rooms. Update window screens. Minor fixes.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to the main road, but quiet and convenient to services. The best part was the welcome received at check in. Family owned, everyone, including a new staff member were very pleasant. The big fish in the tank in the lobby was incredible!

The staff was super friendly, and my room was nice and very clean. The in-room coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave were great to have. Also the heater was excellent (it was -9 the morning after I arrived).

Not a major thing, but a desk or higher table would be helpful for guests traveling with a laptop or wanting to sit and have a bite to eat.

We absolutely love Tina, owner, manager, she is everything. We have not been there in several years, due to covid, family matters. We were very happy that Tina remembered us. Such a sweetheart. Our room second floor was very nice. Non Smoking. But I am very sensitive to smoke, we could smell going up and down steps. I brought an Essential Oil Diffuser, that took care of that. Bathroom very clean, bed very comfy, new ac unit in room. In walking distance to many fine restaurants and little diners. You need to try Fast Eddie's, the Taco place across the street. We will see you soon Tina. 😊 Oh yes, Tina is a Bird Lover, so many different feeders and 🐦 Birds.

There is nothing that we did not like.

people were friendly, nice older facility

we stayed in a king room with hot tub. the latter was disastrous - we suffered badly from chlorine effects, until we decided that the loud exhaust fan was better than suffocation. Staff said afterwards that some people love it and other cannot tolerate it - so they should warn potential clients about that!
