Friendly staff. Good size room and very clean, which is my highest priority. Comfy beds and pillows.Location was good but not in area to walk to shops. Next to the area visitor museum (was closed) and walkable or rent a bike across the street to the entrance into Assateague. Breakfast bar average but good and kept tidy by staff. Good coffee!

The negatives were tolerable and sometimes typical for motels. Loud AC unit and a loud clicking sound in the wall made for a restless night. Very comfy bed but still have the older polyester thin blanket. Others have moved to bleachable white cotton quilt style. We would definitely stay there again.

I loved the location. Maybe a bit quieter side of the island but there was plenty of places and shops in walking distance. It was right next to the Chincoteague museum and the bridge , which you can walk or ride bikes. Rooms were very clean and we were greeted with the nicest lady who gave my kids horse toys, and another nice lady gave them toys when I told her we were checking out. It was a really nice stay .

I didn't mind this at all but there was no housekeeping daily while you stayed there. Anytime you needed new towels you could bring yours to the front desk and they would give you whatever you needed. This was kind of a bonus because we were in and out of the room throughout the day.

Friendly service, hot hotel breakfast, great location, clean and spacious rooms. Free parking and good Wifi signal. No major issues for a short 4 day stay.

The whole building (and island) are pretty dated, TV is an old model with a very basic remote and did not allow for additional input connection from my laptop. There aren't a lot of lodging options nearby, so I would stay here again.

it was a beautiful property minutes from the beach

we stayed four days … had to put garbage outside the door for pickup. bring used towels down to the front desk for exchange. Told that no cleaning personnel would be going into our room for the four days. I’m okay without going in everyday but it needed to be sweep/vacuumed and the bathroom cleaned. I didn’t pay $300 plus a night to clean my own room!

Clean, friendly, decent breakfast and particularly well situated for beautiful Chincoteague Island which was free to drive around after checking in time.

Being right opposite a busy large ‘drive-thru’ McDonalds. Possibly more about Best Western in general than this particular hotel, but $212 for one night in a pleasant but relatively ordinary hotel seemed a little expensive.

..This place was amazing and clean and the amenities were so nice nice from the nice nice comfortable couch area in the front where people could gather with a heater with a heater. 2 to the fireplace fireplace outside gas powered.. beautiful! We all came ...4 rooms with two of them being adjoining with my daughters family... I have nothing bad to say about this place as a matter of fact the next time I come to Chincoteague Island, I will definitely be staying here! I don't have enough nice things to say about it and the staff was so helpful outful and nice. The woman That ran the breakfast bar and what a beautiful setup that was took such pleasure in helping us and making sure we knew everything about what we were looking for and helpful and helpful helpful helpful she was as sweet as she could be and they are lucky to have that girl working for them. The breakfast bar by the way was amazing clean well-set-up and had everything sorry sausage eggs Bagels English muffins smartthings Belgian waffles and all the toppings and she took pride in her job which was so refreshing to see!

I really cannot think of anything that I didn't like about this place the staff here are awesome and friendly and friendly and so so available for your nice nice stay and wanted to make everything comfortable as they could be and I can't say enough about the girl that ran the breakfast bar!!!

The breakfast was good. The staff members are exceptional. The location at the entrance to the Chincoteague National Park is ideal. The hotel seems to attract repeat visitors and many of the visitors are equally friendly and helpful as the staff.

The staff were so friendly and amazing help. The location was absolutely perfect! It was the closest building to the beach! It’s perfect walking distance to some of the highest rated restaurants as well. Very nice experience.

Suggestion - change the hours of the breakfast from 7am to 10am. Otherwise no complaints. Staff deserve a raise.

Everyone working there was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. The grounds are beautiful and I enjoyed the outdoor seating areas. I would definitely stay here again.
