Onley Inn

It was close to what we were in Onley for and just a few miles away from other places as well.

The property was very damp I the room. Also, I have allergies to certain toilet paper, so I brought my own. Upon returning from the day”s activities, my toilet paper I brought was SOAKING WET??? Like it had been dumped in the toilet….. Was this because I brought my own? We had the room serviced, my thought was it may have been a swipe to the cleaning staff? Just allergies to certain things, that’s why I ALWAYS bring my own stuff. Please don’t take this personally.

No breakfast was offered. Excellent selection of teas. Brightly lit grounds at night when walking my dogs. Nicely decorated lobby. Linda checked to see disability room was open for occupancy. We have reservations in November.

Low toilet-inappropriate for disabled room; Water ran from shower into bathroom floor creating a fall risk.

Garry provided exceptional customer service and is definitely working toward continued improvements to this location. Great central location within a half hour of the beaches and the bridge tunnel to Virginia Beach. Rooms are slightly dated but very clean. Hotel discounts for local restaurants and attractions a nice money saving touch.

The lady at the front desk (owner?) was super friendly and welcoming. We were assigned a room that was fine but we noticed that the room next to us was empty and had a hot tub. We were able to move to that room with no issue whatsoever (paid a little bit more) and had a very nice, clean room that had obviously been updated recently.

New management has made positive changes. Room was clean. Property was clean. Staff was pleasant. Lights worked and was lit up at night for safety.

As one that’s in hotels twice a week for work I’m pretty critical of hotels. Only thing I could take away was the bed was too tough.

The location is great since it’s right on Rt 13. The sheets and bathroom were clean.

The carpet smelled musty and was damp and my feet were dirty from it. Had to wash my feet before getting into bed.

Located near restaurants and easy access to the main highway.

Charged $20 for late check out at 11:00 am. Paperwork states Self Registration check out was 11:00 am. We registered through Booking. Com and provided all essential information through them prior to our arrival.

everyone who worked there was very nice and you could tell they have put some work into the hotel.

the only thing i didn’t like was how much you could hear the next rooms tv thru the wall.

No breakfast but McDonald’s next to hotel.The staff was friendly. Plenty of businesses in that area.

Liquid soap dispensers not secured to wall properly.

nice pleasant check in, had a tub and hot water and clean, and PET FRIENDLY

Although the lady was nice, she was kind of slow , but i wasn't in a hurry so that was ok
