The front desk gentleman was super nice. The room was bigger than what I was expecting it to be. I think the online pictures need to be updated as it looked like I was getting an outdated room (which I would have been okay with). But when we walked inside I was thoroughly surprised that it was modernized.

The door to the bathroom was almost falling off the hinges. We kept having to pick it up in order to shut the door without it dragging across the floor. The only other thing I was caught off guard by was the fact that it seems like they are trying to renovate the hotel slowly. Some parts such as the elevator and hallways had seen better days but not in complete terrible shape.

I liked the location , it was just the right spot to visit the local Norfolk beaches, there are lost of restaurants near by and our family members house was near by as well. Good air conditioning, we had a small refrigerator with freezer and microwave, and tiny coffee maker. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

No Breakfast, breakfast buffet bar was not available (supposedly due to Covid restrictions) But in the room they placed 2 brown bags each with a bottle of orange juice , bottle of water, A cereal bar, and a poptart. This i guess to compensate for not having the breakfast bar. We were disapointed since we hoped to save some money by having a more sutiable breakfast included in our stay.

Ali was so great. Top notch employee with exceptional customer service skills. 👌 She made the check in process so easy and comfortable! She now probably thinks I'm a weirdo because I have reviewed her all over the place. But when my husband and I receive great service, I feel like every person should know. This world is full of negative people and things. We need to uplift our customer service people and let them know that they are doing a great job.

Just the iron, lol! I couldn't get it at an even temp. Either way to hot or not hot enough.

The fridge was a great size. Quality furniture in room. Comfortable bed. Convenient location. Modern decor in my room. Decent tv channel selection.

Cigarette smells in hallways. My “non smoking” room smelled like there’d been cigarettes. Also a damp smell in room.

Angela at the front desk was amazing! Housekeeping was very friendly.

Unfortunately, because housekeeping was short staffed, my room was not serviced daily.

The first room had a bed that felt like a board..When I went to the front desk the clerk was able to get me a room with a much more comfortable bed.I had problems with e TV and she called maintenance, who came and helped.

The staff was so helpful and the night I stayed the lady at the desk went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. The Manger was very friendly and the guy that was there when I checked in was absolutely nice and helpful.

The staff was awesome. They greeted us with a warm welcome, so friendly.

The faucet in the bathroom was hard to turn on.

It was very clean but no breakfast as it indicated so false advertising

No towels n wash cloths to accommodate us

It is not shiny and new but the staff are friendly and helpful and the room is comfortable and quiet. What more do you need!?
