Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Petersburg - Fort Lee, an IHG Hotel

The staff were all polite, helpful, made us feel at home. The housekeepers do a awesome job cleaning. Koren the manager does her job to assure the hotel is run smoothly.answers questions and is very knowledgeable about the hotel. We will definitely stay again.

The people above us were up walking and making noise EARLY S unday morning. People need to be more considerate. Just think, because you are up, it doesn't mean everyone else is. If you have young children, try to keep them from running around the room making noise at 6a.m. Some guest may be still sleeping..its about consideration. You can always ask about the bottom floor once you are booking.

In general, we like this hotel chain. Meets our needs. Amenities in the room are good. Bed was comfortable.

Location in a very depressed area without decent places to eat. Also a major detour caused us to keep having to go back out on Rte 95. We put a total of over 100 miles extra on our car. With the price of gas - not cool! You could have advised us before we booked. You could have also mentioned that there is a newer and nicer hotel in the same chain not far from this one that we could have booked at which would have solved this problem.

This hotel was clean & perfect stop for travelers! The staff was amazing.... one woman, who checked us in was doing like 5 jobs, checking people in, help with luggage, managing Birthday party kids, replenishing coffee, taking out trash, ... Great service.... but seems a lot for one person

The only thing bad... breakfast, stale toast, horrible food, but Coffee was great

Breakfast food was tasty, room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was supposed to have coffee and tea available 24/7. Went down and no water to make tea, had to ask and wait for someone to make hot water. No facial tissues in room and went to front desk and, I was informed that didn't have any at the hotel. At breakfast in the morning there was no coffee, had to again wait for someone to prepare it and make it available.

Not the newest or prettiest hotel but everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location seemed pretty rural but it was conveniently just off I-95 so it was fine for a one night stay over. Breakfast was good including some amazing cinnamon buns. Overall was a pleasant comfortable stay.

Breakfast was great. I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy with the scrabbled eggs. Although the scrambled had ran out on my way to seconds the cook assured me the omelets were great too, and he was right. Bagels, turkey sausage and cereal were also apart of my meal.

I loved the size of the room/suite. It accomodated my group nicely. I also liked that it was very clean and the staff was pleasant at all times.

The only things I didn't like was that the frame was too big for the bed in room 310. I ended up slamming and scraping my shin on the metal frame. It's the bed closest to the window. It kind of took my breath. There was also one day the breakfast was just a bowl of fruit and nothing else. The other days they had a full breakfast selection.

We were traveling through on vacation. Definitely recommend staying here. Beds are extremely comfortable and the room was clean. We did not utilize any of the facilities as we got there late and left early. They seemed to have great protocols in place for the guests safety/comfort.

If I have to choose something on the down side The room was a little dated with some areas that need to be fixed, like parts in the ceiling and the corner of the bathroom mirror was broken. Also the plug in our bathroom was very hard to get to, it was behind the mirror and therefore I had to dry my hair out at the desk area.

The room was clean and spacious enough for me and my family of 6. It was everything my family and I needed.

Breakfast fell a little short it wasn’t as good as it could have been, but we were grateful for what the hotel did offered. Just was looking for a little more variety.

easy location off 95 alongside other national chain hotels acceptable nightly rate, worth a stopover if you can’t make your full trip in 1 day big, clean, comfortable room with no frills delicious, well-stocked breakfast in a pristine common area with plentiful seating

bathroom was a bit basic, but fit our needs just fine
