O I'm going through a divorce & needed to get out of marital home, this was closer to my place of work & so I chose it to stay. Overall I was satisfied.

I felt the rate was a bit too high. But, honestly, I had no choice unless I wanted to drive 20 plus miles one way. If the rates were more reasonable, I would have extended my stay. Unfortunately, I had to relocate to another hotel. Also booked online & description said bathtub, my room only had a shower, this was a disappointment as well.

The staff was welcoming and very friendly. I the room was very clean. Check in time as at 3PM I was able to check in at 1:30PM. Breakfast was delicious they had a full spread. I went to a concert at VSU it was 10 minutes for the college and then I went to The croakers spot to eat and that was 10 min away from the hotel. It was the perfect location.

The door was too close to the toilet. and there were no cloves available for patrons to wear while serving their own food

My husband had a gig at Fort Lee and this property was very conveniently located near the base. We were allowed to check in early and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was fantastic! It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was well stocked with plenty of variety. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself and the room was clean and had adequate amenities. The staff was also polite. I wish there could have been a notice in the room stating that housekeeping does not service the rooms every day or not until you check out....whatever the case may be, but the front desk staff was really polite when I requested fresh towels and bath cloths.

The room had a musty/damp smell and the AC unit was very loud. The mattresses probably need to be replaced due to the noticeable dip in the middle which caused slight back pain. The bathroom could have been a little larger so the door wouldn't be right up against the toilet when you open it. Also, the handle on the inside of the shower door was missing.

The breakfast was fine. I am a picky eater so I had coffee, yogurt, water only, but there were several good choices. The location was great for the reason I was there. I would stay again.

The pool was closed due to maintenance. It would have been much nicer if it had been ready and open since I was there for several days.

Beds were incredibly comfortable and the bedding was very comfortable as well.

Politics and religion should never be discussed with guests, especially at check in. It was strange but I don't get uncomfortable easily so it was fine . I could however see it being very uncomfortable for others . Just thought it was strange. Then again, it's the start of the Bible belt so it may well be very common to discuss these things with strangers.

the staff did not bring trash bags when needed I left towels we had to call several times … very clean but somehow a couple of gnats got into room… but overall very clean

had a homeless guy on property at the time we where staying, was sleeping in car on property near our vehicle , not sure if he was working there or was allowed to be there but it made guests uncomfortable

Loved the bed, how dark the room was and the space!

The light in the bathroom had the fan attached so it was loud every time you had to use the bathroom. Water pressure was really low!

Everything was great, rooms clean, breakfast staff were very sweet, from desk kind but the pool was GREEN and we had hoped to swim, of course didn’t.
