Room was clean and quiet. Price was very reasonable.

The room was great, comfortable. Communication easy. A little away from downtown and Whitman, but could drive there in under 10 minutes.

Would have loved to be able to walk to downtown, but there’s not much that could be done about that. In my unit (5), the refrigerator froze everything, even when I tried to adjust the knob. Minor issue.

This was my second time staying,and it is a clean,calm atmosphere and the staff very nice .

I loved everything but at one point when getting ready to leave our toilet clogged and I felt bad because we had no plunger and the office wasn't opened,because we left very early in the morning so the toilet was plugged up and we had to leave but that was not the fault of anyone.

Cannot recommend the Garden Motel enough. It's family-owned. Walla Walla is small, but even given the city's size, this place is well-situated. There's a grocery store, office supply store, and a Dutch Bros. within walking distance. And it's ten minutes from Whitman, which for my family was perfect since we were there for graduation. Good rooms at great prices.

We LOVED this motel! It was our first stay in an authentic USA motel and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff went out of their way to welcome us - even putting out a Wales flag outside our room - and were so friendly and helpful. We sat outside in the beautiful garden and enjoyed a few drinks after a long drive plus a fuss of the gorgeous resident dog, Piper.

Absolutely nothing

It's always a pleasure to support a family-owned and operated business. Brothers John and Rick, along with their mother Carolyn, maintain the motel's cleanliness, comfort, and hassle-free experience. Our first visit in late September was memorable; the garden was beautiful, and the water feature contributed to a charming evening.

I had alot of trouble locating the property first time there because of the very poor Google Maps directions. I asked the hotel manager if they could try and contact GM to see about correcting the error. Otherwise, the hotel room was spotless. Not crazy about the television not being able to be seen from the bed like 99% of hotels but that's a minor inconvenience. The free wifi worked perfectly and a nice little fridge was convenient as was the ice machine right next door. Parking with a utility trailer attached to the car was a little tricky but overall, a really good value for the four nights I stayed.

The room was clean, well appointed,if only a little small, but more than adequate for solo traveller or couple. The bed was comfortable and the facility was quiet at night enabling a good night's sleep.

I arrived on a motorcycle and didn't want toget back on the bike, restaurants within walking distance were scarce, but that is a unique concern.

A very nice little motor court a little ways out of downtown. It was spotlessly clean. It had a pleasant sitting area and a comfortable bed. A closet with fridge and microwave also had room for our coolers, picnic basket and suitcases keeping the room from feeling cluttered. A lovely garden in the center.

The proprietor does an excellent job in maintaining a clean and inviting motel. It is not fancy but it's cleanliness is equal or better than most high dollar hotels. The bed was firm, which is not often found in motels. I would definitely stay again. I loved the little quiet space - the garden.
