Best Western Huntington Mall Inn

We're on our way to western Kentucky to help rebuild houses for the victims of the tornado from December 2021. It's close to the highway on our trip. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good.

There was no ice. None of the ice machines were working. I like to have ice water since the water doesn't taste very good. I like to let the ice melt and drink that water. There was a lot of noise, like a party in the hall around 2 AM. I know the staff couldn't help that, but it was very annoying and then I couldn't get back to sleep.

The lady at the front desk, Donna, was so helpful. I forgot to ask for non smoking, but she gladly switched us to another room. Also when the remote didn't work, she replaced the batteries.

We had just stayed here a few weeks ago, but the price had gone up. And last time there was a hot breakfast ( for the lower rate) and this time it was just pastry and cereal. Also there was a bug crawling in the bathroom, I think it was a cockroach.

Always friendly staff and the location is awesome. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept great. We will be back.

Had an issue with the washcloths not being clean. We did show them to the host. This is the first time this has happened to us here. Also, we didn't receive the room we needed and wanted. This was not the hotels fault, but booking.com didn't really provide that information.

I liked that it had everything we needed for the room. I have medicine that needed to be in the fridge and you provided one for me. The room was great. Close to parking and I could see my vehicle from the room. I liked that we had a hair dryer and ironing board and Iron. Great to have. I really enjoyed my stay. Most likely will stay there again, but down the short hall this time. It was a wee bit noisey but we were o.k. for the time we were there, Thank You for a wonder stay.

Liked the room. It actually smelled clean, not musty. Good size and a comfy bed. Breakfast good, hot food cooked and warm. Swimming pool was open as the property advertised. Enjoyed a relaxing float.

I had a problem with the waffle maker, the spout came off creating a flow of waffle batter everywhere. Swimming rules should be enforced. Children should have an adult supervising, not another child. A child came to the pool without parents, I reported to the desk.

Comfortable room. Unexpectedly comprehensive kitchen facility. Great Mexican restaurant across the parking lot.

Though not the fault of the property, incredible street noise from about 11PM to 1AM. Was a Saturday night. Sounded like street racing. And our room did not face the street (a main thoroughfare - U.S. 60). The "breakfast" was really minimal.

This was my 2nd stay and next year if the rates are good, I'll stay again. I am not getting credit for my times there as I am a member of Best Western Rewards and I don't know why.

An Ice machine was out of service and there were gouges out of the carpet in the room which I took a video of to assure I was not held accountable for that.

Location was right off the highway, several restaurants very close by. Bed was very comfortable and lower than most places I have stayed, which was very nice.

room was next to the vending ice machine room so it was a bit loud when people got their ice. people do not use an indoor voice in the hotel halls or vending areas. Travelers need to learn to be kind and lower their voices in the hallways.

The location is convenient, the staff super nice , I liked that there was smoking rooms .... the bed was super comfortable .....

Walls needed painted , so all the batch work ain't so visible , some of the furniture could b updated and replaced , and not being a Karen, but maybe add some exhaust fans to some rooms that the smell of weed ain't so obvious coming from other rooms lol .... I have nothing against it or the smell , just could b a negative for some people

We were greeted by a charming hostess who answered our questions about dining options. The breakfast hostess was very helpful and pleasant. The shower was hot and very refreshing.

It was fine.
