Best Western Baraboo Inn

We appreciated the breakfast selections each morning.

The location and directions to the motel from the Wisconsin Dells was quite confusion. The motel hostess could not give a clear explanation of how to travel on the expressway. We were told that there were multiple ways to travel into Wisconsin Dells resort area. The circle directions for traveling to the motel and to the business area was so confusing. We did not engage in a Night Life of entertainment because we did not want to get lost!!!!

Ease of check in/out. Hotel was quiet and clean, staff were friendly. BW Baraboo Inn was proximal to everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quality, low cost room that's in a great location. It's only minutes away from Devils Lake, the Dells, shops, eateries and breweries. The maintenance man was around and visibly working all the time (does he ever sleep?). He was very helpful and kind, readily offered assistance. He kept the pool and breakfast areas well stocked and clean.

Beds & pillows weren't quite as comfortable as some other hotels we've stayed at. We didn't expect the highest quality comfort for the price of our room. Ice machine was far from our 2nd floor room. These idiosyncrasies would not prevent us from staying there again. Overall we slept well, the hotel was clean and staff were friendly.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. My other half hurt his knee hiking and we had to cut our trip short. We had booked through bookings.com, but the staff here worked with us to get our last night's stay canceled and refunded.

My only complaint was the bedding. The sheets didn't stay on the bed, so the corner kept popping off exposing the disgusting matress underneath. (One of those things that if you don't see it it doesn't bother you) I also had to ask for a second blanket because the bedding was so thin.

The staff was very friendly. There was also little easter baskets and eggs with candy inside. I felt that was very cute that a staff member took the time to do that. Very nice added touch. Nice breakfast in the morning and good coffee. Clean space. Would definitely stay here again.

Only thing I would change is if I could stay at Best Westerns with my dog. I travel with her for work and we can't stay here when we are doing that.

Location was great, staff was affable and attentive, place is family friendly and the pool was well maintained, breakfast is good. The whole place was well maintained and parking was convenient.

There was a lil smell of tabaco cigarettes in the room, the place doesn't allow smokers but we definitely smelled that scent left behind after smoking ( it mostly came from the bathroom exhaust so it might be coming from other room).

We liked the cleanliness of the room, bathroom, and facilities. Friendly staff and breakfast was great. We also liked the location.

There must have been a family with kids above our room because there was a lot of running around late at night when we were trying to sleep. Also, the hot tub jets were not all working properly.

We’re greeted by a masked employee, behind plexiglas, even though Wisconsin no longer requires. Sign on door asked patrons to wear a mask when entering. We had no problem with that. Check in was super quick, keys were and in an info packet and desk clerk gave s some tips on things and was available for any questions. He greeted us again on our way back from dinner and asked about our time away from the hotel and if we had a good dinner, etc. Very personable!

Only draw backs were that other patrons didn’t wear masks even though the sign asked us to, and the lack of accessible outlets in the room. One of our group has a C-pap and it was good she had brought a power strip as she also needed to charge her iPhone. I needed two outlets for my chargers (I always take a plug in adapter that accepts three plugs), and our third person also needed to charge items and luckily had brought an extension cord. The only outlets near the beds were on the lamp between the two beds. Really could use more! Otherwise, another wonderful stay at this Best Western in Baraboo, WI.

This was a quick getaway for my wife and I. We were thrilled when the maintenance man informed us of the bluetooth speaker in the pool area. We had the pool to ourselves and cranked it up. The hot breakfast was very nice too.

The mattress seemed a bit lumpy and could be replaced.

we were surprised that the heat was on when we arrived (it was 90 degrees outside). it took a little while to cool the room, the humidity in the room was a bit high and the sheets felt damp. After a while the room became comfortable. We thought it odd that masks were still required=the only place on our trip that required masks even if vaccinated.

The room was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Easy check in.

They tried with the breakfast but everyone was struggling with the toaster, the eggs were not really eggs I don't think, and overall the breakfast area was confusing and needed better signage.
