The room was clean, very clean, and when arriving was carefully explained the parking situation, the desk hours, and how to contact the desk if necessary. In some other reviews, I see criticism of the management and attitude issues. After my stay, i pretty much feel those cases were probably self induced. The location is downtown, small town America, and does not have the major chain features that perhaps some folks desire, perhaps then they should just use the major chain of their choice. It was clean, warm and comfortable. exceptionally clean considering the price point. Coffee is offered. At the rate, breakfast was not expected.

A little bright in the morning, no black out curtains but not such a big deal. The room was out of the 80's really cute. Very spacious. The fridge was a full size one, there was even an electric stove. We didn't use it but we were told it could be turned on if we wanted. The only problem is you have to bring your own utensils , pots, pan, dishes, etc. Good to know for next time. Manager is not as bad as he is described on his reviews. Just a busy man that does not have time for idle chit chat. Cut him a break, he is trying to make a living too. It is not easy dealing with different people daily. You cant please everyone. We would for sure stay there again.

Great location. Very clean. Accessible. Good value for a reasonable price. Good choice for anyone who just needs a place to lay their head & doesn't need a lot of extras. This is an old, downtown "motel" style place - very old "up north". We'll stay again.

It's old, so of course there aren't enough electric outlets. Bedding was skimpy. I think we may have had a twin blanket on a queen bed, and mattress too hard for me - husband slept like a rock.

The room was very clean and the owner was friendly and accommodating. the location was great - right on the main street of Eagle River. There are not a lot of extras, but we knew that when the room was booked.

Our room was right by the back door, and it was a bit noisy as people were coming and going in the evenings and mornings.

Location was perfect, parking was easy. Check-in and out was very simple, and the owner/manager was very pleasant to deal with. Rooms were a bit dated, but very clean.

Would have been better to have had toiletries in the bathroom (they provided hand soap, but dispensers for shampoo/conditioner/body wash would have been ideal)

Owner was super nice and walked us around and showed us where everything was and where we could park our motorcycles. We requested 2 extra pillows that evening and he immediately went to get us pillows. All the decor was right out of 70s/80s and everything seemed well taken care of. Very cute place. Would stay again!

Bed was a little hard but I'm used to a soft bed so thats on me. It was clean and that's what matters.

Price and location. Mgr. was pleasant and sociable. Staff was on site or near by for any problems.

The place could use some updating but was perfectly acceptable for the price of the room. I have no complaints.

I Loved the Vintage feel and the cleanliness. The owner was very kind and told all details up front. Plenty of towels were provided along with an extra space heater... the hotel was nice and quiet. We will absolutely stop here again when we come back up for the Cranberry Festival~

The atmosphere was warm and inviting like you were at home. Our room was bright and just down right AWESOME! An unexpected surprise. Anything and everything we could need was in walking distance. The Manager was amazing.

The owner is easy to work with and straightforward. Because my family stayed at the Traveler's Inn for almost two weeks, I greatly appreciated the mid-size refrigerator and stove. I was also impressed with how clean everything was overall. It's clear that this place has been lovingly maintained for a very long time.

The room smelled musty and the beds were too hard. The motel could use a few upgrades, and I believe this could be done without compromising the mid-century authenticity.
