TownePlace Suites by Marriott Madison West, Middleton

It is a new hotel so everything is very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable! Nice that it had a mini kitchen which was stocked with all utensils and kitchen gear needed. Large walk-in shower was nice. Common areas of the hotel were very comfortable and relaxing. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and eager to please you.

Didn't like the fact that the hot breakfast didn't start until 7am. We had to leave before then so missed out on breakfast. Coffee was available though. The location is not within close walking distance to a restaurant or bar. Summertime might be okay to go for a walk but not in the winter cold.

Location is pretty quiet and reserved which is nice with sleeping toddlers napping. This hotel had everything I was looking for with pool with lots of natural light to a beautiful and clean shower. Kitchen was a must with my two year old. Separate bedroom for my mom. The pull out couch does open. You have to take off back cushions to reveal straps. It will appear like you are flipping the couch upside down but it actually is separating the couch into the bed. It is hard as the floor tho. I still went with it bc I cosleep with my two yr old and it was low to the ground. I needed a foam bed topper anyway and used it on top of the pullout. No great view of the city or lake, but considering we weren't there to be in the hotel much it wasn't necessary for our stay. Hope this is helpful. 😉✌️

Besides the hard pull out. I was billed for 25 expense fee both nights. I would have liked a heads up on this. Maybe there was one and I missed it. It will be credited to my credit card but don't know how long. Staff did not explain this very well.

- The apartment was really nice, with split resting from dinning/living areas. Seriously, it is really nice! - The front desk staff are very attentive and helpful. - Car parking is very easy and at the hotel door.

- The cleaning is good, but the cleaning staff missed some basic things: they didn't took the trash from kitchen, changed our AC settings to an insane cold one, opened all our windows (that we intentionally closed) in a level 1 room that exposed all our stuff - the breakfast is real weak, but what bothers me the most is that everything is plastic or paper, I'd expect a bit more of environment care. - also, I know that is a chain think, but finding a Bible in my room is something that makes me feel uncomfortable and show a bit of disrespect about different believes of your customers. It may be the time to update that old tradition and have them available only upon request.

Very clean, spacious, NEW room:efficiency. Common areas are exceptional - especially the gym and pool. The breakfast is very diverse for this type of suite and they even have a nice “convenience “ section where you can buy essentials, meals, wine.

The price continues to go up with each trip to the point, the value is no longer competitive and I booked elsewhere for myself and colleagues. Also hard to get an Uber , Lyft or dinners delivered to this location.

The Townplace Suites in Madison, Wisconsin is is an IMPECCABLY APPOINTED, ULTRA-CLEAN, SERVICE ORIENTED, IMMACULATE LODGING ESTABLISHMENT whose OVERALL QUALITY SURPASSES THAT OF 4-STAR AND MANY 5-STAR HOTELS. Photographs online, though beautiful, do not do the hotel justice. I found my room spotless; and only lacking bath towels, which situation the desk clerk "Kim" immediately and personally rectified within 5 minutes, with a smile and sincere apologies. The contemporary, minimalist, sleek, neutral colored decor, appliances and EVOKED CALM SERENITY calm and is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL; especially in the bathroom and kitchen area. I slept like a newborn baby, enveloped in luxurious linens no less! All appliances, plumbing and electrical equipment worked; and unlike in some establishments, the alarm clock was easy to learn to use and set. The Townplace Suites will be my go to hotel in Madison, Wisconsin; and I am eager to explore the chain in other locales, thanks to what proved to be a phenomenal, well-priced experience.

There were no towels in the bathroom; but Kim personally and immediately rectified that problem within less than 5 minutes wielding a smile and offering sincere apologies. So really, no complaint there.

I love the location which wasn’t placed on a busy street surrounded by noise. The cleanliness and appearance of the hotel was very calming and tasteful. The room was beautiful and wonderfully designed. I was comfortable the entire time and it is one of my top choices for visiting Madison. It has felt like a home away from home.

But disappointed in the breakfast. I felt the selection was limited. Liquids were good, no problem with them. I had a bagel and muffin. No one seemed to be making any waffles so don't know if they would have been good or not. Had dry cereal but passed on that. Only fruits were bananas and oranges.

When we walked into the room, the TV welcomed us (by name) to Madison and said to have a nice day! The room was spacious and there was even a small kitchenette, which we didn't get to use since we only stayed one night. Price was very reasonable. There was a pool, which we also didn't use. The place looks brand new, and the nice price probably won't last long; I suspect they're trying to get noticed.

The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was efficient and friendly and professional. He was there the 2nd night and just as friendly. When checking out he was there along with another friendly and kind lady. The rooms were so spacious, clean and well-kept. I loved the separate room suites!

The hotel was amazing and the location is very convenient. The hotel itself is amazing and everything in my room was amazing and clean. The front desk people were very nice and recommend some attractions for us. The hotel was perfect and really nice for its price. Would definitely recommend!
