Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel

Very good breakfast, hot and cold items. Great coffee, bottled water available all day, and homemade cookies! Location was great in the State Park for the activities we were there for. Very friendly and courteous staff. Loved the historical building the BW Plaza is in.

Nothing. Everything lead to an extremely nice stay! We would definitely stay again when in the area.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Ida took care of our room and asked every day if we needed anything. She was super. Coffee and breakfast was a bonus.

Getting our luggage to our gorgeous 2nd floor room without an elevator. I know that can not be fixed. It was difficult to get our bags up the stairs.

I liked the facilities. The room was nice, and the breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed the hot springs on site. It was an excellent location for walking. They also had warm cookies at the reception desk.

The guy at the front desk, although friendly, spent quite a bit of time talking about how he didn't like new management and liked the way things used to be. TMI

The manager and all of the hotel staff were friendly and tried hard to make everything nice even giving us tips for dinner and chatting to tell us about the town. Lee is a character in the best possible way! The natural hot tub outside is lovely. It made the evening extra relaxing after a long trip. Breakfast had a good selection with fresh fruit. Definitely recommend for a visit to Thermopolis.

Breakfast was sufficient with good variety. Location is wonderful, right in the park and walking distance to pools.

Very loud creaking sounds from floor above our room. Hallway outside our room was also sometimes very loud with ice machine.

Located in the entrance of the Hot Springs State Park. Has its own hot spring soak tub and a heated pool so you don’t have to pay for the surrounding facilities. Staff here is so friendly and nice. Annie is amazing. She is always here and so kind and helpful. Pool was great but had a lot of bugs in it. I used the net and removed them myself but wasn’t a big deal. Room was huge and accommodating.

There aren’t enough plug ins in the room and zero USB ports. Which I needed to plug in my phone and plugs needed for my cpap and fan. Otherwise zero complaints.

I liked the location of the property and how close it was to the hot spring pools and park. I also like that the spa in the courtyard was 24/7, I really liked the historic architecture of the building. I feel like they could also offer more for breakfast, could definitely use more nutritional items.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was I paid $200.00 a night for my king suite room 219, the pull out couch mattress was more comfortable than the king mattress in the bedroom. For that high of price I would have expected a memory foam type mattress or a mattress of better quality. My husband and I literally felt every spring in that bed.

Historic Hotel in State Park the exterior is neat and flowers everywhere . The rooms are large and comfy. The bath has been completely updated and showed is large ( no tub) Breakfast provided was fresh and sit down ( sausages, fried eggs and hash browns) also grab and go available . The pool was closed due to a pump issue but is large enough. Natural hot mineral spring hot tub on site available 24/7

No elevator. The AC was struggling and we were provided a fan and were comfortable.

We have stayed here before and this was one of the best for Thermopolis. We really enjoy the State Park and the motel is right on the edge next the river The room was clean, updated and repairs were apparent. A favorite.

The only short coming we noted was the double beds were not long enough for my 6'1" frame and barely long enough for my 5'10" wife. A fan in the bathroom would be nice too. And, no shelving in the bathroom to set clothes when showering or getting dressed.

Great location in a state park along a river. Views of thermal features that make this “hot water” park a must visit. Very good complimentary hot breakfast. Private hot pool for hotel guests and easy walking or driving to commercial and state hot water parks.
