The staff here were exceptional, from the enthusiastic Bell on the ground floor right up to the restaurant staff on the top floor. I didn't know any Vietnamese and as always, began learning on the fly - with the girl in the restaurant being patient and helpful! The view was also great through the large window (wall) looking over the river. You could also open the window to let in fresh air. I did have a meal in the restaurant the first night - was getting late - and it was delicious. The breakfast was okay (but the plates were tiny!).

Having a separate shower from the bathtub would have been nice.

Hotel location is perfect on Bach Dang st, 1 street behind hotel Is Food and shopping street. Hotel has only 7 rooms/per floors6 floors, only room#01 can sleep 4 Room 01 (floor 3 to 7), mine was 501, 90degree view of Han river and nightly light show of dragon bridge Great breakfast on fl 9 top fl of this hotel

Not much to improve for the price paid

Location, facing the Han River. Near the Dragon Bridge, Han Market and Pink Church. Excellent, delicious breakfast ( menus are changed daily), Friendly and helpful staff.

Wifi was slow the last 2 days I was there. Otherwise, I would rate it a “10”. Tour to the Lady Buddha and Marble Mountain cost 800 VND, no lunch and I had to pay the entrance fees. Most of my tours in other cities in Vietnam are for only 500 VND, with lunch, tour guide, entrance fees and transports included.

We had great views of Han river and importantly, great sunrise view without moving from bed!

perhaps due to covid there was lack of staff and they packed visitors to the lower floors. we would have preferred higher floors although the hotel wasn’t full

I like breakfast line the most. All food are delicious and good taste. This place is located in the very good location, it's very closed to the Han Market and closed to nice restaurant, cafe, and along the river. Able to see the Dragon bridge from the room which is very impressive. Nice staffs with fully pleasant service and friendly.

The room is quite old also the furnitures. Seems bed sheets hadn't been changed, it aren't clean at all. The TV remote also out of battery, seems no checking before next guest.

My room had the most spectacular views of the Han river from the Dragon Bridge, to the ferris wheel and beyond. It was wonderful to see the colourful lights at night on the boats cruising the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful extremely helpful, printing out train tickets and organising my taxis to and from the airport, and train station. What would I have done without them? The Hotel is in an excellent location, step out the door and you are surrounded by really nice restaurants, and in next street you will find the famous Han market. Very quiet, clean, and I wish to highly recommend the Sun River Hotel. 10/10!

The suite room at high floor which I had stayed was clean, comfy and spacious. I specially like the panaromic view from my room with clear unobstructed view of Han River Red Dragon Bridge as exactly the same picture shown during room reservation. Hotel staffs were polite with fairly good breakfast at the 9th floor providing good view of the Han River, Hotel is well located, a short 3 mins walk to the market & easily accessible to nearby restaurants & drinks. This hotel was recommended to me by John Phan of Danang Transportation which my travelling group hired a van for our sight-seeing tours.

I have no complain about my bathroom facilities as it has a separate shower and toilet. However, some of my elderly friends staying in deluxe rooms would prefer a normal showering room without a bathtub for safety reason.

Breakfast was good, with a lot of selections available and a nice view of the city. The location is very close to the market if you want cheap clothing, bags or souvenirs. It is only a short taxi ride to the beach, and extremely close to the airport.

There was not anything I could think of to complain about with regards to the hotel. I think the only downside is that the beach is not within walking distance. However the price reflects this, and the beach is only a short taxi ride away.

We choosed the location very carefully because we wanted to see Dragon Bridge fire show. Really better way was to take a little cruise trip on Han river because it wouldn’t be visible from the panorama window. Sun River hotel was our first accommodation we stayed in Vietnam and we were happy- breakfast was very good and the hotel entrance with statues give us a wow factor
