The location is central, just opposite of Saigon Center (Takashimaya), which is probably the most popular shopping mall in HCM and is the office for companies like Shopee and Lazada. The hotel looks very new although it was opened in 2014. My room had a nice city view in the evening but the sound proofing is good so won't be bothered by the traffic noise during sleep. The breakfast is properly managed and offers a lot of options. Bonus point for the rooftop bar and a cinema on level 1.

The room is quite small, especially for the toilet. I think no problem for solo traveller but it could be a concern for couples or families.

Very spacious and clean, nice bathrooms. Good staff, attentive and helpful. Thank you for the birthday cake too. Nice pool and rooftop bar area.

Booked through bookings.com and was not told of the extra cost per guest in the room. There were no option for me when booking (if there was, might be my error, however the guy at reception told me straight away as we checked in and said it’s a common error on bookings.com) Booked a twin room and double bed room so it’s obvious there were 2 guests per room and would have liked if they notified us earlier (through message or email) about this extra cost as it’s quite obvious they knew beforehand. Happy to pay but if they knew earlier it would be nice to have known pre arrival.

The location, hotel amenities and everything were great. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

There are dj events on a couple of nights, I think it was Friday to Sunday. You can’t hear this in the rooms but it was a shame we couldn’t use the pool area quietly, personal preference but good to know. Also, there is no shade over the pool, something to consider if you’re planning to use it midday.

Staff were super helpful especially concierge Tan.Buffet breakfast was great.The view from my room was spectacular and swimming pool was very pleasant.Nothing seemed to be any trouble for the staff.I would certainly recommend Citypoint to fellow travellers.

I know this might sound hollow but I didn’t have any complaints.Maybe Iam easily pleased but everything about hotel and staff was excellent.

Perfect location for sightseeing and shopping, minutes from everything we wanted to explore, area felt safe and clean. Room was great, bed and linen was so comfortable and great views of the city. Exceptional customer service as we arrived early but a room was found for us, however I was really hoping for a bath and so the gentleman at reception changed our room and checked that it was to our liking, perfect!!

Our second stay here so we knew what to expect and yet again it did not disappoint and I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Breakfast selection was very good with a mix of local and western food. The gym was clean and had a great view though a little small, and the rooms were clean and well appointed. The air-conditioner had to be switched on every time we exited the room and came back, but we got to set the temperature ourselves. A cinema was in the same building, and it had a spa and a rooftop swimming pool. Was a very pleasant stay all in all.

Some language barrier with the staff who didn't speak English very well, but they tried their best and a mixture of english and gesturing worked well enough.

A wonderful hotel, great location, loved the bistro & roof bar / pool. Staff is also wonderful and do whatever helps. Would definitely come back. All very cosy, breakfast is good and full of choices. Did not want to leave ….

The only downside was that the WiFi in the room did not have the strongest signal. Mentioned that at reception and they gave me a WiFi enhancer - then it worked fine.

The location was awesome, walkable to many key places around. Mall was just across the road and it has a grocery store too so it was very accessible and convenient. Staff were friendly and could converse well in English. Place was generally rather clean. There's a few food options within the hotel itself too.

There was only one chair in the room - not a big issue but something to note if you are going to want to have some meals in your room, you'll have to eat from your bed or stand around. The window couldn't close properly so the noise from the street seeped in throughout the nights, but could just be the room I was in.

The very central location. Major sightseeings just around the corner.The very good facilities. The very nice views. We were on the 11th floor and we had already beautiful skyline views of the city. The very attentive staff. The marvelous breakfast buffet.

Nothing, everything was fine. So the following are more suggestions than complains. Mabye better music selection on the Skybar? Lounge music, or Asian pop?It would fit with the magnificent views. And mabye wash the glass curtain walls that offer the nice views from the rooms more often?

Location right in the centre of HCMC, friendly young staff throughout, lovely buffet breakfast catered for all tastes, comfortable room, great down stairs bistro bar with a terrace with a street view to watch the wonderful chaos of Saigon , roof top pool bar with a great view. If we came back to HCMC, we'd certainly stay here again.

Nothing at all, we really couldn't fault the hotel.
