Nice small hotel off a very big city street. Only a few steps away from 8-lane-traffic but very quiet. The hotel had no rooftop terrace, but we could sit half outside in the evening (first table up front in the breakfast room) and that was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was very small and had no windows. So it is probably a good idea to upgrade to a better and bigger room.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is great and very close to the attractions. The rooms are a decent size compared to others in the city and kept very clean.

Not a negative, but having a sign for the hotel at the entrance to the alley way so that you know it is at the very back and round the corner of the alley way would be very helpful. Thanks

The location was perfect to explore District 1. Tucked away in a little courtyard right next to 3 coffee bars, but once you're on the big street you're in the middle of everything. The staff was friendly and helpful, the design of the room was pretty. There was no problem in holding our suitcases for a night while we explored the Mekong Delta. Communication through the Booking app was easy and swift.

We got an upgrade to the roof terrace room but it was a little more dated than the pictures showed. When we stayed here again a couple of days later without the upgrade we enjoyed the room more! The breakfast was good but limited, during peak hours we got to know our fellow guests because we had to share a table.

Centrally located, comfortable and clean hotel as recommended by The Guardian (top 10 in HCMC). Decent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Superb coffee shop (Lava Coffee) located on the same small alley as the hotel.

The tour agency - Kim Travel - recommended by the hotel for the Mekong Delta 4 Islands tour was very disappointing. If you’re looking to do a delta tour, I’d strongly recommend people read the 1 star reviews of Kim Travel for an accurate portrayal of what to expect (it’s a tourist trap). The hotel staff kindly lodged a complaint for us, but I would’ve expected a partial refund given our experience fell far short of what was advertised.

The location is prime, a 10 minute walk to the markets and a little more for the museum. The staff are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They are easy to make a relationship with and hold a strong sense of community. They were willing to help at every corner, and share their experience and knowledge of the city. There could not be more perfect staff at a stay!

The location is hard to find, the map doesn’t take you to the correct location, instead around the corner in a laneway. The staff were happy to come out to help us. The room we chose was a little small, so next time we will get the bigger one.

Really excellent little hotel tucked away in the centre of district 1, only a 5 minute walk from the Opera House, City Hall and Square. The staff went out of their way to make us feel settled in and gave us a complementary cold drink on arrival (which was appreciated after our long journey!). Very clean and comfortable room that was nice and surprisingly quiet given the location,

Only down point was that we didn't realise we had to pay for the snacks in our room (we didn't see a price list so we thought it was complementary - unless our jet lagged brains missed it!) so we had a bit of a surprise paying for that when checking out.

Location is central for exploring Saigon. There are many food options. Accommodation is clean and extremely spacious as i took room with balcony. Staffs are friendly and will point you to happenings around Saigon.. Little tip for taking grab: Find the nearest cafe located on main road near to hotel as hotel is located in small lane.

There is big electronic billboard facing my room and literally lights up my room until around midnight. Unless you fancy sleeping in total darkness with curtains drawn which i dont. For me i prioritize good night sleep. This review should not discourage others as everything else about the hotel is excellent.

Beautiful boutique hotel right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They helped with suggestions for day trips and places to eat. I arrived at 7am and had an early check in, paying 50% of the room rate for the night, perfect with a night flight and a solo traveller. The breakfast each morning was the best, the omelette was cooked to order. Outside the hotel is the best independent coffee shop and separate cafe that did lunch/dinner for 55k vnd. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the city!

We were happy to have chosen this hotel for our first nights in Vietnam. It is cosy and everyone made you feel so welcome! As it was in a little alley with shops, cafes and little restaurants it felt like ‚real vietnam‘, great for individual travellers like us. The beds were comfortable and at night we sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view and the fresh air. The AC worked fine, very quiet and efficiently. Breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of food. Kelly at the reception went out of her way to help us with booking onward travel and suggestions. We enjoyed talking to her. Daniel and Will were great too. We were well looked after by Nick, Pete and Ricky, and Anna and Rosa cleaned our room perfectly. Thank you all!
