A beautiful Hotel with the most wonderful staff. We were constantly greeted with warm and friendly smiles and every member of staff (throughout the complex) were able to assist with our questions and requests. But what really showed was a genuine interest in making sure our family of 5 were taken care of in the best possible way. We felt relaxed and welcome from the moment we arrived. The facilities were clean and comfortable, the pool and deck is clean and well maintained, breakfast items were varied and tasty and the coffee (barista) was on point. The soundproofing in our 3 bedroom apartment also worked extremely well. There is a large supermarket and numerous mini-marts within 100 metres of the hotel, a beautiful coffee shop directly accross the road and a fantastic little restaurant at Turtle Lake roundabout that is definitely worth the walk (Bánh khọt Cô Ba Vũng Tàu)

The beds are quite firm and the pillows a little too soft - but having said that our family of 5 still slept soundly.

I liked the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The front-desk, cleaners, and room service staff were very accommodating and helpful. The strategically located near the city center but far enough from loud noises from bars and night activities.

What I didn't like is a trivial matter and not a deal breaker, but it would have been great if I got it. This was my fourth stay in this facility but the latest check out I got was only 2pm. Unlike that from Sherwood Suites where I always got my latest check out at 4pm.

The slight drawback, however, in that the residence is located a bit away from the central commercial area, necessitating approximately a 15-minute walk. But, this minor inconvenience is mitigated by the readily available and reasonably priced taxi services.

The rooms were a great size and could easily accommodate my entire family. They are also well insulated and do not receive much noise from the street. The pool was very handy for the kids as well. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, but what really made it great was the staff. From before our arrival, where we had an issue with our credit card, they were very patient and took all steps necessary to rectify the problem (which lay on our side). During our stay, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend the staff in the hotel more.

While it is not a huge gripe, the apartment’s kitchen is in a separate room (old style). It would’ve been absolutely perfect if the apartment had an open plan kitchen to the Living Room. not sure if it’s a positive or a negative, but the hotel is a little bit outside of the absolute centre of town. This kept the noise and traffic down, but to get into the middle of town I would recommend taking (very cheap and relatively fast) taxis/grab cars.

The staff is the real heroes at Sherwood Residence. The property and rooms are kept very clean even though the property is dated. Front desk and all hotel staff are helpful, courteous, and very professional. They're always ready to help and made our family feel welcome.

The property decor and rooms are a little dated and dark. Guess it could just be the old European design but the look and feel is a little cold and old. A renovation to paint the rooms and furnish with new lights and furniture would make the place much better. Overall, it was a still a good stay for our family.

Pool, Room cleaned, and staff were helpful. I will come back again soon.

We (2 adults 3 children) stayed for 3 nights in a 3 bedroom executive. Beds were firm (not saggy), wifi fast, and the apartment large enough for the family. Decor was fairly minimal, but that suited us fine. The facilities in the common area (pool/sauna/gym) are top quality. It's staffed, and also a rest area for those who have a late flight which we did. The pool is better than it looks in the photos - with a portion of the pool under cover and a portion in the sun. The staff are service oriented and helped with bookings and any questions we had. There are 2-3 coffee shops across from the hotel, and 1 Japanese restaurant up the street, and a local noodle place around the corner.

The area the property was in did not have that many street food/restaurants, especially for breakfast. Decor in the rooms was minimal - more suited to a 4 star property than 5 star

Great service and facilities. Well equipped apartment. Our 4yr old really enjoyed teh indoor playground and pool. including free hourly shuttlebusses to district 1. Coffee shops and major supermarket nearby, Oh and there's a back entrance for almost direct access to a convenience store

Location is a bit far from the touristy highlights but free shuttle bus can be useful. Mostly residential building so staff obviously couldnt really help much with booking tours etc .

Very classy! Apartment was spacious, high end fittings and furnishings and linen! Lots to do for kids, high security from the foyer. Pool is fantastic, gym , play room for younger kids and games room’s upstairs for the older children. Overall fantastic little hotel squeezed amongst the bustling streets of Saigon .

The beds were a little hard for my kids but I did enjoy them. Nothing really that I didn’t like.

Very good family accommodation with great facilities (even a bit dated). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Sales staff is very nice and supportive.

Could have been more modern setups, more like 70s’ style, it’s cozy somehow. Wish Wifi could have been faster but do expect the slow wifi in most hotels in Vietnam anyway.
