The hotel has is located in the heart of District 1 and has a very helpful staff. They offered afternoon tea. Breakfast and happy hour at the pool were available for a fee.

The rooms were a bit dated and not as well kept. Found many stains throughout the room and loose long hairs (that we don't have) on the sofa and bedding. Bathroom drains did not work well. There is only one elevator and so there is almost always a wait to ascend or descend from the lobby.

Staff was amazing. They did everything to turn our stay there even more special. We were in honeymoon and they kindly give us some treats. Very special people willing to help with everything. Good breakfast.

For this hotel level, I think they should invest more to keep the beauty visual. Roof and walls with not so good condition of painting and finishing. There are opportunities to work on it and leave a very good aesthetical impression.

The location of this hotel is possibly the best in Ho Chi Minh City. Right behind Ben Thanh Market, and very nearby to the Post Office and Opera House. The decor of the hotel is calming and relaxing, exposed wood and natural fibres, a contrast to the busy city outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 10:30am but they already had the room available so they let us check in early - which was much appreciated. I liked that the hotel seems very eco friendly - even the soap in the bathroom came in a paper package, rather than plastic. Breakfast was a bit limited, but still nice. I recommend ordering off the menu rather than just relying on the small buffet options (both were included in our room rate).

The pool is much smaller than it looks in the photos. However, it is nice for a quick dip on a hot day.

The staff here went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met! The breakfast buffet offered different options mostly asian but you can still order western/european options from their a la carte menu. I want to highlight the superior service of Ms. Hân which every morning greeted me with a smile and remembered small details about my preferences! Also to the chef Dung for teaching me new dishes! He was so kind to recommend special dishes for me! That was so nice and made my stay here very pleasant. The complementary afternoon tea was lovely, sometimes with live music! The tea selection and the menu varied every day (even more than the breakfast). Thanks to Phuong, also for teaching me how to eat the vietnamese dishes! He was very kind! Overall, everyone in the restaurant, Thao, Nan the supervisor and even the new staff (Khang) were so so friendly and attentive. The rooftop pool, looks like a jacuzzi its small but you get beautiful views and sunsets. The executive room was spacious and clean! They gave me fruits and chocolates and a welcome message! what a lovely touch! Finally, the hotel's central location allows easy access to major attractions by foot. The Silverland Yen Hotel is noteworthy choice that you should consider while visiting Ho Chi Minh!

Too many light switches to control the lights and only one plug near the bed. The room feels outdated.

Staff were wonderful, very helpful and attentive. There were nice added touches such as a chocolate left in the room and a personalised card thanking us for our stay. The location was great - near to the war museum and Ben Tanh market and a short walk from the main nightlife. The room was great - comfortable beds, lots of storage space and a nice bathroom. Again some nice touches that we haven't seen yet in Vietnam such as conditioner in the room and the mini bar included. Breakfast was nice and varied and tasted good. Would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

The only downside was the lift as there was only one for the property and with 10 floors it took a while to come

The staff are so helpful and friendly Ngoc at the door helped carry our pram up and down daily and staff are always there to greet you no matter what time. Location is great walking distance to the hustle and bustle without the noise of the beeping. Smoke free hotel which was a bonus was clean and tidy. Roof top bar was great, room service was efficient and a wide variety of food and drinks. We stayed here 3 times over 3 weeks and they were so accommodating. Wifi is good never had any issues and free mini bar and afternoon tea was a lovely gesture. They helped book 'Grabs', taxis etc and even let us store some bulk items that we hard to handle between stays. Will be back again soon for sure!! 10/10

Great location, good food, wonderful staff, and the most comfortable beds! Fun rooftop pool! No notes.

There was construction going on, on the roof. They had turned the sauna, hot tub, pool area into a pool and bar area. They were doing further construction on the roof, assuming adding to the amenities. We were on the 2nd floor so had no problems but people on the top could not easily get to their rooms due to the lift being out of service. Minor inconvenience and will most likely be sorted by the time you stay.

It’s in a really central location that’s also quiet at night for sleeping. The pool area is very small but excellent if you do manage to get a seating space. The real big hit is the team. They genuinely can’t do enough for you without that overbearing (and sometimes annoying!) 5 Star service! It was my first visit to Vietnam and HCMC so I had loads of questions and they answered everything with huge patience. Brilliant team especially the daytime reception during my stay.

All was good. If I have one gripe, the bathroom could do with an acid wash. The bathrooms are solid well maintained, the housekeeping are doing a fantastic job. The owners just need to spend a little bit of cash and acid wash the tiles and grouting to clear the mould that develops over time.

The location was great because it is walking distance to restaurants and bars but still quiet enough to be able to sleep. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooftop is great and has an amazing view over parts of the city but also no skyscraper close by so you can see really far. Overall the attention to detail and tea time in the afternoon were amazing.

As with all hotels the insulation of the room doors is not enough to block out doors closing, staff/other guests speaking or elevators arriving with a ping. I also saw a cockroach on the rooftop bar floor (which I know is a city problem more than a hotel problem) which is not great.

Location is great! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a choice between local and western cuisines. The rooftop pool is perfect for chilling by.

The fitness centre/gym was a tiny room next to a hotel room so it felt wrong to start up the treadmill at 6am when someone is sleeping next door. There are two machines (treadmill and cross trainer) and some weights. Definitely not a “centre”. More of a room. This obviously didn’t affect our stay too much but would have been nice to use the gym when we couldn’t sleep through jet lag.
