Front desk staff are efficient and accommodating. Hoang Duy provided great customer services. Kim Anh, manager assistant, demonstrated excellent capacity to anticipate guests’ requirements. First class food at the Le Bistro Restaurant, excellent service, friendly and courteous! Hoang Lam, swimming pool manager, is the most helpful and polite staff with excellent command of English. Great stay, will come back soon for sure.

Better choice of music for different settings. No disco music for such a prestigious five-star hotel as Sofitel. Music for restaurant should be more subtle and appropriate for dining… No music at the pool in the morning preferably!

Location, hotel brand and the breakfast buffet is the best.

I think the bedrooms need new tv screens which are modern. Feeling a little out dated on the technology.

Louis is a very nice person we have ever met, this is the first time we come to VN. We dicided to choose another brand of hotel in VN, but Sofitel in China is the best, so that we chose it, and luckily we were right, thanks for Louis. When we arrived at the hotel, this kind guy assited us alot. He took our lugguages, shown us the way to go to the check-in desk, and he always smiled. After the check-in process, he so us the way to go a mini mart, it's named ministop, cause we asked him. But we don't know how to go there and this was at 1 am, we quite scared. And u belived that, he took us to go there, and we just reconigzed he end his shift at 1 am, but he happy to take us to go there. This guy IS AMAZING!!!.Not only he escorted we go there, but also nice to show us how to choose food. If u go Sofitel just meet him. Thank you Louis. Thanks for giving us the good huge imppression.

The staff were all exceptional. We had access to Club Milleseme, the food and drinks were good. The service from all was first class. Both the day and afternoon teams couldn't do enough for you. Very friendly and professional and all had a sense of humour. One of our group of 4 needed medical attention and the caring attention and help from team leader named Mint was nothing short of fantastic. Mint rang and arranged an appointment with the doctor after 6.30pm,had information of cost as well as location of the medical centre. Great pillows. Good air conditioning.

The rooms are small. The pool was not correctly PH balanced and was dull. The electronic lighting and a/c control beside the bed is confusing and is useless in the dark.

The hotel was in a great area in District 1 near the embassies. The staff were exceptional from Tran Huu Nhan (Asst. Food & Beverage Mgr) to Tim on the concierge desk, Tan who looked after the bar and pool. The girls who served in the breakfast room and the 17th Restaurant. The food at night (French) in the 17th Restaurant was to die for. And as for the breakfast - well, it had to be seen to be believed. Everything from Vegemite to ice cream, Chinese, sushi, full western, cheeses and meats, about ten different juices, hot croissants delivered to your table. Unbelievably good and fabulous service.

The lovely old bar on the ground floor allowed smoking which we didn't like. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

We arrived just before midnight so the check in was swift and seamless. The breakfast selections were great.. enjoyed the availability of Vietnamese fare. The menu for room dining was also good. Staffs are helpful and our housekeeper did a fantastic job in maintaining our room. Thanks to Wayne who suggested to use grab app to make travelling around less stressful since a lot of local taxi drivers do not speak english!

The hotel only has one tour agent on offer so we are limited on choice!

Sofitel is a lovely Hotel. It is very busy and has a variety of people staying from Holiday makers to business people. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with good all round facilities in the room. The breakfast at the meze restaurant is excellent but very busy and bustling at times. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful as they are generally in Vietnam and Cambodia.

For a very busy Hotel, the restaurant will obviously be busy and crowded at most times , hence difficult to move around freely. The Hotel a Pillow care service but we were a bit disappointed as they were too soft for our liking.

The staff was very helpful. Location is dope! It's within walking distance to famous monuments and shopping centers. And love the bed. I definitely think this is big plus point and will come back for this :)

Underneath the bed was not cleaned (tbh i accidentally found out but it puts me in an uneasy feeling sleeping on it ..). We also ordered room service but the food was already cooling down too much arriving at our room. Bread was super chewy :( I understand that because we ordered to room, there were time involved but the food delivery could be better. The lighting system is a bit confusing but could be that I'm a bit low-tech. The electrical plugs are not very European friendly. I struggled a bit there.

No problem with the 18 th floor location. The lifts were ok and the easy keyed access was fine. The view was ok and the staff excellent and friendly. The clearance of tables was slowish and the mix between menu items and serve yourself was good.

Cleanup of tales in the club should be faster. The checking/out process was fine as was the concierge and door// luggage staff. Facilities were relatively modern. Air conditioning whilst effective in the rooms was a little noisey.
