The Beach Retreat Coolum

The pool and spar and it's within walking distance to everything.

The bottom sheet didn't fit on the bed properly it kept coming off.It would be nice if the owners could do a little work on the complex,I know it's close to the beach but there's so much that could benefit with some updating and some paint there's rust everywhere.

The Beach Retreat is set in a perfect, central location within minutes walk restaurants, cafes the Surf Club and patrolled beach. The pool is excellent, with a smaller, shallow lagoon for young children. we loved the hot tubs and the sauna - very relaxing. Our Ocean front unit had spectacular views across Coolum Beach and North to Noosa Headland. Thoroughly recommended for a good value holiday location.

The location was great. Walking distance from many shops, across the road from the beach. Our room in particular had a great view of the beach. And the staff were SOOOOO nice.

It was a little dated. Some of the fixtures could do with updating. Unsure why there wasn’t an air conditioning unit in the bedroom. Would have also loved flyscreens to get a breeze at night in lieu of an air conditioner. Also one half roll of toilet paper for 3 nights is kind of stingy.

Unit was clean; being a solo female traveller I felt safe Proximity to beach and boardwalk was an absolute bonus. Appliances good and kitchen well equipped

Did not like lack of privacy when seated on patio that was part of unit. A lot of stairs to climb when carrying luggage.

The location was central and close to all Cafes, Pubs and restaurants. Opposite the beach .You could hear the surf all the time. Great to get public transport north to Noosa and south to the airport and Maroochydore.

The mattress was very uneven, but for what I paid it was good enough. Air conditioning noises from other rooms kept kicking in and out. Highly likely I will return. :-).

Fantastic location wow was blown away how close to the beach and local shops and cafes!! Facilities in the room were a little dated but super clean and heck you don't book a location like that to stay in your room!! Perfect spot to drive to Noosa to explore or bring your surfboard and catch some early morning waves at Coolum Beach itself! Dog friendly beaches is awesome I wish more places were dog friendly!!

Great price and location and had a small courtyard with an ocean view. Lovely pool and surrounding area. Car parking available and lift to room. Restaurant and bar just next door and the beach across the road.

This room was dated but very clean and comfortable. We chose it for the price so this was expected and we were very happy. The only suggestion I would make that would be quick and easy, change the light bulbs. I guess in summer it would be nice and cool but in winter it appeared a little gloomy.

We loved the location! Close to everything! Parked the car in the secure parking area and didn't need it again until leaving day. Friendly staff, clean facilities with a great view!

My only suggestion would be having bigger quantities of the complimentary supplies. A family of 3 need more then 1 small bar of soap and small tubes of shampoo and conditioner. Also the dish liquid needs to be more.

Location was great. Secure parking so we could walk everywhere ocean view was beautiful and across the road from the beach and walking tracks. Staff were great and pool was clean. Great coffee at the cafe

For a four day stay, we had a motel room rather than a kitchenette. We couldn't even cook toast. The restaurants are very expensive. It would have been nice with a little more room for a long stay.

Great value accomodation, had everything we wanted - private bathroom, great shower, (bonus = spa bath!), fridge, kettle, crockery + cutlery, free wifi, free secure car parking. Being July we were glad the aircon efficiently heated our room. Outdoor pool and spa were heated, also a sauna. Excellent location - across the road from a coastal path and lovely beach for surfing, swimming and running. At a quieter end of the main seafront road but within easy walking distance of lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. We were really glad our Brisbane friends had suggested Coolum Beach as the place to stay on the Sunshine Coast, and our choice of The Beach Retreat from booking.com didn't disappoint.

At $137 a night for the two of us with the facilities mentioned above there was nothing to dislike! Wifi slow at times but that could be caused by various factors.
