Nightcap at Commercial Hotel

Perfect for staying close to the Metricon Stadium. The staff were fabulous!! From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed - even the cleaner was so lovely and accommodating. The bar/bistro staff were also fantastic. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. The complimentary bottled water was much appreciated. But it was definitely the staff that made this stay so fantastic!! If only all hospitality staff were like this. Thank you Kylie, Loretta, Cellic, Cathy and James (apologies if I have got your names wrong/misspelt).

Team was very friendly and helpful when i had to check in early. Lady cleaning the rooms was amazing and very friendly when we had to ask for a extra towel. Room was super quiet so we got a good night sleep.

Bed was a little too soft for our liking but that is personal preference not a fault of the hotel. Could of used a hair dryer in the room but wasn’t a deal breaker. Lights from the BWS were super bright and we did have to jam a pillow against the curtain to block out as much of the light as we could.

The lady that checked us in was the loveliest person ever! Gave us every bit of information we would need. Love that there was a security coded door into the accomodation part of the hotel so it was kept locked and seperate from other areas of the venue. The rooms were clean, bed was super comfortable and the location was reasonably quiet! Cleaning lady was also really lovely! Thanks Commercial Hotel :)

The reception to the hotel was excellent....very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom newly renovated was a great size. Totally will stay here again. Excellent value for money and only 16-18 minutes from Surfers depending on traffic and 10 minutes to Movieworld and Wet and Wild.

AThe staff , cleaners and barstaff!! So good to talk with people from home ,Aotearoa NZ. I spent a fair bit of time chatting, where you from? Oh I know the family from the East Coast so,so, friendly. Was there for .y nephews boxing fight at the Croatian centre. Next morning the cleaners asked how his fight went...He won ! 2nd round knockout!! Gee the cleaners remembered and were so happy for us .Thanks for the gr8 stay even though weather was raining.

Very clean, modern and family friendly. The mattresses are so soft and comfortable we all had the best sleep! Great location close to theme parks and surfers. Reception team was very lovely and welcoming. We had a great family weekend away thank you!

friendly staff, quiet room, clean & tidy, fair price, down stair have bar with2 vouchers discount drink 🍻 opposite the hotel is shops & the mall with food, Thai massage... & petrol station. It’s quiet good location for me.

it’s a bit far from beach, takes around 15 mins travelling to the Surfers Paradise (You can park your car at Coles with 2 hours parking free) its triple room but a bit small, don’t provide hair dryer / toothpaste & toothbrush (so remember to bring your own)

Room and bathroom very clean and organised. Nice colous, fridge, coffe and tea facilities, milk in fridge, cockies. Great TV with Netflix. Small table with a chair. Staff very friendly and helpful. Even received 2 free drinks down in the bar. Absolutely worth the money.

The bed a little bit soft for me, but that is a personal thing.

Breakfast not available at Commercial Hotel Nightcap we ordered from a cafe and picked up , brekky on-site would have been great as we had an early start .

Beds seemed to be a little too soft and unsupportive ? There may have been a mattress issue or we are just used to firmer beds ?

I had booked a one night stay for my bachelorette weekend away and boy were we thrilled about the room we checked in to. To book in for a 2 bed apartment to sleep four people to later find out we had the best room in whole hotel for the sheer fact that in one of the bedrooms was a spiral staircase to lead to a third room with more beds. The amenities were clean and to find two bathrooms as well made for easier and quicker getting ready stage for going out for the night. Cause we all know girls take a while to get ready. Having the hotel above a pub just put the cherry on the cake to end the night knowing that when we were to finish our night/ morning we were just a staircase away from our room. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone the bar staff down in the hotel were amazing and friendly and even joined us on their break to have a laugh with us. I will definitely be coming back and hope that the room we had is available for us again.
