Lockleys Hotel

The room is an older syle. However, I already knew this. The room is extremely comfortable, has everything you want and a really hot strong shower. The cleaning Staff were extremely accomodating. I mentioned that the lamp had blown and tripped a circuit breaker but I could not find the circuit breaker panel. The Cleaning Staff Member located the panel, and switched on the circuit breaker. A few minutes later he returned with a replacement lamp. The Cleaning Staff were also very considerate and checked if rooms required servicing and what we needed.

All good.

Lockleys Hotel is conveniently located close to Adelaide minutes from the CBD and minutes from the beach. Their rooms are well appointed, clean with comfortable beds for that well earnt sleep and there is free WiFi. There is plenty of free on site parking. We travel from Whyalla, country SA and choose Lockleys all the time. For those on a budget and who isn't these days, then Lockleys Hotel has extremely economical prices. One of the rare places in town that as an excellent dining area with a great menu that is more than affordable. Their menu is backed up with excellent chiefs, you will not get a more delicious meal anywhere in Adelaide. Book your table when booking your room because this place is popular and with good reason. For those that like the pokies there is a gaming area as well. Above all their staff are welcoming and friendly which caps off a very pleasant stay. Over the years we have tried most places in and around Adelaide and yes there are a few places equal to Lockleys Hotel but none better. Over all Lockleys Hotel is our favorite by far.

There is a small flight of stairs to get to the rooms which are on the first floor. However this is a small inconvenience.

the location was perfect for what we needed. Unfortunately we didn't stay the whole night. We came to Adelaide for a family crisis, but it was way worse than we thought and come about 8:30pm all we wanted to do was go home. The service and facilities were excellent. Thank you.

Location was good suited all our needs. Supermarket across the carport and Hungry Jack's next door. Room was of a small size but still comfortable. Comfortable beds and good shower water pressure. Meals in Bistro were nice as well.

As written in other reviews it is an older building and above a working casino/bar. it is noisy at night so bring ear plugs if you think it’s something that will annoy you. I was happy with my stay. staff were helpful. good locks on the doors. close to supermarkets and chemist.

The location is central to anywhere in Adelaide city. Very close to the Airport. They have a extremely good selection on the menu that would carter for anybody, their meals are not only great value but also delicious.

Perhaps a couple of chairs would be good.

Very nice stay, spacious clean room, equiped with fridge, kettle and tea/coffee. Surprisingly calm and quiet despite busy surroundings. Close to the beach and airport, ca 20 min bus ride to the city center.

I like the location. It is close to airport and the badminton stadium. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The mattress is too soft and the exhaust fan is not strong enough. It is foggy after shower. I had to turn on the fan for an hour but still not much of help. Especially water dripping from the ceiling.

Great value and well insulated from the street and bar noise. Very inexpensive. I walked from my room to adelaide airport in just over half an hour walking quickly.

I could hear the guests in the room next door.
