Quest on Franklin

The balcony with the view was great, we enjoyed it very much. Also, how the room was split with the bedroom and big glass wall. Travelling with a small child, we could always have him play by himself and somehow have an eye on him. The bathroom was perfect. Also, that we get amenities to wash the dishes was very appreciated.

The only little thing we didn't like was: We asked for a late checkout, which was granted. We were contacted twice (once by the housekeeping, once by the front desk) after the regular checkout time and prior to our late checkout time, when we leave the room.

Quiet and clean modern rooms

That the car parking is across 3 lanes of busy road. Once you leave the carpark, you also have to return to the Quest to return the carpark card. To drive to the carpark or back to the Quest, you have to drive several blocks and go through several sets of lights. This is the most aggravating parking location and process of any Quest I have ever stayed in. There is only 1 car park spot in the drop-off zone, which was continually being used, leaving nowhere to park upon arrival or departure. Mini bar items are down in reception and very pricey

Most things went well. I particularly appreciated the baggage trolleys.

The lifts are a shambles. I went with friends, and they ended up on 4 separate floors. I eventually sorted out a key that got me to 3 floors for the first two days, mostly. On day 3 my key didn't work for any floor (not even my own floor) and I had to have it re-programmed. For an upmarket venue like this, the car parking arrangements were a bit of a nuisance. The nearby places to eat left a bit to be desired also, but the kitchen in my apartment was good.

The apartment was big and spacious with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom was big with a big walk in shower. Lovely and light with views to the hills. It’s in a convenient spot - close to Adelaide markets and minutes walk to the heart of things. Not being right in the centre of Adelaide meant it was quieter. We’d definitely stay again.

Nothing really

nd Our bus arrival was delayed by 3 hours. I emailed asking if it was possible for the reception staff to put through a dinner order for us and put it in our room. The young man at reception ( I think Roland but not sure) called me and organised it for us he was lovely and took our order and had it put in our room 1106B. We didn't arrive until 9.45pm. We didn't need to stress any further. Every Quest we have stayed at has been great. Please pass on our thanks to the lovely young man for reducing our stress levels re being able to get dinner and going above and beyond. He was very impressed with my husbands beard.

Nothing

Close to shops, Central Market and restaurants. Bed was so comfy I actually slept in for the first time in a very long time. Staff were awesome and helped with parking at bus station. Room was amazing and clean and really large.

Great location - close to main Adelaide market. 15-20 minutes walk to main attraction or accessible by one of the free bus services. Uber to most site for < $15. Five minutes walk to get train to Glenelg beach (well worth a visit). Good service from staff and re: room servicing. Nice size room - clean and comfy.

Two things could have been better. The bed was ok, but we thought did not match the quality of the apartment. Bed had no pillow top - would rate it about 6-7 out of 10, The kitchen was quite good - we mainly used for breakfast and snacks - but the only frypan was so worn - we weren't game to use it, A new $20 frypan would be a goof investment.

Good location. Quiet surroundings. Close to a hotel and the Central Market. A short walk from the CBD. Generous size room. Large comfortable bed. Good size kitchen, which was well stocked.

Shower was in a bath. While not difficult to exit, it does represent a slip/trip hazard when exiting the bath. Heavy layer of dust on top of the dryer. Easy to reach and see, even for housekeeping staff.

All went well. Room size was bigger than expected and facilities were excellent. The parking was simple and across the road from the apartment. If I was staying agin on a weekend I might not bother paying for parking as there was free parking on the street I could have used.

The facilities werwe better than expected. The only thing I could fault was that the light globes in the rangehood were not working. Staff were going to arrange a replacement.

Central location, good kitchen facilities for self catering, close to central city entertainment and events venues, close to restaurants, local food market and grocery store, comfortable, spacious and clean. Local buses, trams and trains nearby.
