CitiClub Hotel Melbourne

CitiClub is in a great central Melbourne location. Staff responded quickly to my communication about a late check in, and made any changes easy. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. Our room was nicely decorated and was welcoming and comfortable, with a good view of the city. Basically everything was great apart from some excess noise from a few guests in adjoining rooms on Saturday night - however to be fair, the hotel does say on their website that there is a nightclub on site. Overall this hotel was great value for money in terms of location, comfort, and price. The staff went out of their way to assist, which made for a positive experience. The price is also very competitive which makes up for minor inconvenience of noise late at night. Would definitely book there again.

Room was ok.

The airconditioning system needs to check, the control panel does not allow me to adjust the thermostat. I have to request the reception for someone to look and adjust for me. My first night last at the hotel was inconvenient to sleep in due to the warmer temperature inside the room. I couldn't adjust to lower the thermostat maybe because it wasn't working.

is really very Convenient to many Hot Spots, and many good cafes and food around , walking distance to many attraction and places I wanted to Visit, the daily cleaning was exceptionally awesome , making our bed neat the first thing that give us a good vibe after a long day out , have a really good feeling, to have an awesome good night sleep, and television program was great for Good Chef, Bad Chef in the morning and Master Chef in the evening was a Kill🤩🤩, you all really made my time so memoriable and will definitely come back to your Hotel again. thank you So Much For The awesome hospitality and warmth.

they didn’t provide Mineral Bottles which they mention the Tap Waters are able to consume directly from the tap , but I assume many foreigner like myself , aren’t really believable to chances, the check out timing is rather too early for guest to check out ,10am is rather too early for our flight at 6 pm , I really hope there is some negotiation towards our extend of another 2 hours as l I believe many foreigner have the same issue, but over all , the stay was very pleasant .

The place to live is not bad, and the price is not bad. There is only one thing to note ❗️ the parking lot. $40 a day, that’s right. I use my own bank card when entering the parking lot. Before I go out, I have to go to your station to pay the money. Your station staff will give you a PIN code. Just like that, it’s the 21st today. When I checked out, I went to the parking lot to pick up my car just after the parking lot employee told me. Only then did I know that I was staying for four days. It was just me and the car going in and out of the parking lot. My bank card was still there and I was asked to pay $207. The hotel staff are all helpful and have a very good service attitude. They helped me prove everything in time. In waiting. .

Proximity to Sky Bus station and sport venues we were going to attend.

This is great place to stay but if you are staying over weekend keep in mind that they Nigh Club operating, and you will not be able to go to sleep before 3 am. I was warned about it on my arrival by staff; however, people booking this hotel for weekend stay need to aware of this at the time of booking rather than on arrival. I have stayed in this hotel last year but that was either on Wednesday or Thursday and there was party in same venue, but noise was not an issue. This time even earplugs wouldn't be able to help with falling to sleep.

Excellent location in the free tram zone. There is a convenience and liquor store right next to it as well. The room was clean and spacious and the air conditioner heated the space well during the cold winter. During our stay on Monday and Tuesday night it was all quiet (no sign of a night club) The TV has YouTube and Netflix.

There is no microwave in the room but the receptionist was kind enough to heat up our food. The gap between the floor and the entrance door is big. Our floor was mostly empty during our stay but at busier times it could be noisy for sure.

Great location. Near shopping and good food restaurants. Warned by staff that because hotel is over a nightclub it might be loud and gave us earbuds. (Never had to use them, heard a mumbled ariana grande set list at like 11pm on the Friday, but we were on the 6th floor so it was well away from action) Honestly under rated, we got executive Queen suite and the room was massive and we had a couch as well as a queen bed. Bathroom a bit outdated but like it's great value for money.

Needs better signage at the back because the steps at the front are killer for suitcases. There is a wheelchair and baggage entrance down the side street but Google maps takes you to the front door.

Accidentally booked for the nights they had clubbing at the base floors, however all things considered we were not too bothered by it. Counter staff are friendly and courteous. Rates were good compared to other options. Staff gave an acceptable warning about club noises during check in

Not the hotel's problem per se, but I had forgotten you cannot enter from the main entrance after 10pm club days. I was walking past the bouncers who were too busy talking and they gave an attitude because I dared to walk through the gap they didn't bother attending to whilst talking on the job. Ruined my mood and overall experience, and it is slightly inconvenient going around to the back to enter during the night. Definitely reconsider this property if you're not attending the club itself in the nights they host it. An auto message to staying travellers about the noise warning would have been a great touch.

The location can't be beat! Plus my room on L5 looked newly renovated ... very tidy! And all at a reasonable price. The hotel is about 5 mins walk to Bourke Street mall, and less to trams down to Southern Cross Station. And close to trams going to Flinders Street station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, plus a bottle shop & convenience store downstairs. I stayed 5 nights, one of them being a Friday. No issue with the so-called noise from the nightclub on L1, but I wasn't on L2 or closer so I can't comment on those floors. But still, all these complaints about the nightclub .. read the bloody reviews people! Or ask for a room in a higher level.

A small wait for my room past check-in time but that was it (the staff repeatedly called maintenance to see if the room was ready which was appreciated).

Friendly and Accommodating Staff.

Standard of Cleanliness, Hotel has a club downstairs on Level 3, noise was pre-warned and expected, and it wasn’t too bad on Level 6 of the hotel- you can hear the music, but ever so slightly. The hotel doors close from 9pm up until about 7am the following day which means that access to the hotel is on a side street, in an alleyway. The entrance for the hotel after 9pm is dodgy, in a back alleyway, through a carpark entrance and you have to walk on the road as the footpath is full of people lining up for the club, even up to 2am, the footpath is congested. People urinate and vomit in the side entry that hotel guest must use.
