Hotel Kögele

Near to the skilift, bus stop in front, very friendly staff and great breakfast with all you can wish for, e.g. eggs, bread, juice, cheese, etc. Also great place to have dinner with traditional food. All in all, I can recommend to spend a few nights here and i would come here again, definitely.

Personal are excellent is very friendly and helpful. Half board is great and even too much! )) Chief’s food is exciting, thanks a lot! Terminal Kögele the bus station right in a corner, buses rides to Lizum Examer and Innsbrug every 6 minutes. In hotel we’re received free tickets to swimming pool for three days, just in 15 min walk or 3 bus stopes. Excellent time we’re spend in Lizum freeride and perfect after skiing in swimming pool sauna’s and the best dinners in hotel restaurant afterwords.

Internet needs to be interning all-the-time in opening the web.

Very friendly, hospitable, and professional staff. I was greeted warmly when I checked in. I cannot speak much German but the staff spoke impeccable English. Nice clean room, and good breakfast Great coffee. Hotel has a restaurant and bar, open until 10 PM and 12 Midnight, respectively. There's a bus that goes to Old Town Innsbruck (Altstadt) that leaves every 15 minutes. I was given a welcome card which was a transit pass that allowed me to take the bus into Innsbruck and to use the Innsbruck transit system, including both bus and trams. It takes about 15 minutes to Old Innsbruck. Bus #4162 stops kitty-corner (diagonally) from the hotel (see photo). Get off at the Finanzamt stop (one of the ladies at the front desk wrote the name for me). From that stop it's a short walk to the Inn River and the historical center of Innsbruck...just look for the Alps and go. very good location for ski at the Axummer Lizum, which is not a ski location for beginners. Very good kitchen. We took breakfast & dinner (halbpension) for a very reasonable price. breakfast buffet has all you need. the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. very friendly and helpful staff.

there is no elevator so be aware to announce if climbing stairs is a problem for you.

Very clean and friendly place to stay. good breakfast selection, probably the best in our two week road trip of Europe. The lady who greeted us at reception was extremely helpful and explained how to get to the cable cars and gave us a useful tourist voucher for the area. highly recommended if you want to stay near Innsbruck with beautiful mountain views.

maybe just that the balcony should have chairs to sit on.

All meals we had were of a high quality. No complaints at all. The room was kept clean, the only downside for me was the lack of a small fridge and coffee/tea making equipment. None the less the staff were great, they could not do enough.

The only problem was the fly's which sometimes invaded the dining rooms. Fly killing units needed

Great location in the centre of Axams. Easy walking access to restaurants and the ski slopes (via free bus). Friendly staff. Spacious comfortable room with mountain views. Warm and cosy. We ate in the Hotel restaurant one evening and the food was well priced and very good. Breakfast was also very good - continental style buffet.

Would have loved a kettle in the room and perhaps a bath - but for the price, it was a good room.

We used this hotel as a base to explore Innsbruck and some of the surrounding area (hiking, waterfalls, Großglockner). The hotel was simple, but nice. Everything was in working order; Wi-Fi worked pretty well. We were happy with our large room that fit our entire party of 8 (a coupe bunk beds made this possible). The on-site parking situation is a little hairy, but worked for us (they had us park in a driveway behind the hotel). We used the hotel's restaurant for dinner one night and thought the food was fine (most expensive of our trip, though). We thought the breakfast was really good and had a nice variety of things to eat, which didn't get boring over the course of 4 mornings there. Interactions with staff were minimal, but pleasant. The hotel was in a decent location. It's easy to drive places, and there is a bus stop right across the roundabout that gets one into Innsbruck in about half an hour. (The local government or tourism association provides free passes via the hotels for people staying 3 nights or more.) We used the bus a couple times without any problem. The route into Inssbruck is nice, winding through a few small villages.

No air conditioning. I know this is normal for central Europe, but it was pretty warm. Restaurant was a little overpriced. Not a problem for us, but people should be aware that there's no elevator. Parking was tight.

Just a one night stop but hotel was worth the slight detour we made. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with a balcony with a beautiful view. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and the waitress very helpful in explaining what was what. Breakfast had everything you could wish for. Would stay again if in the area

Such a friendly hotel, in a stunning location. Very comfortable beds, excellent choice of breakfast and superb restaurant for evening meals Our 4th trip here .. and we'll be back next year.

Nothing disliked ... Just a kettle in the room for us, would have made 10/10.
