Theater Hotel

Top location, everything in city centre is walking distance. Room looked good, comfy bed, windows could be opened wide. Separate toilet. Quiet street/ no traffic also due to the market on Saturday/Sunday. Lots of shops & resto's close. Parking close (we parked at Schouwburg parking). Great service at reception, we could check in at 11am (we did not expect the room would be ready). Overall good value for money.

Breakfast: cooked part (eggs, bacon etc) was not really warm, and neither was the coffee! This is why I don't give a 10. Rest of breakfast was OK but not great, this could easily be fixed I think. (btw plenty of breakfast places in the area). Corridors & elevators looked old but did not bother me.

The location is excellent, fit person's, walking distance from everything. Staff were friendly and helpful with everything. I'd forgotten my toothbrush and a kit was provided. They brought us an ironing board and iron. And even have us painkillers one day. Very comfortable clean rooms. We were two friends sharing a room with two single beds and the room was large enough that we could get dressed easily without tripping over each other. Generous space and chairs and coffee making facilities. We left bags there after check out so we could go into the city and cage back to rest in the lobby before taking our train and felt comfortable and welcome.

Breakfast had a lot of choice but is not super high quality. Pastries were particularly bad as was the bacon and sausages. Would prefer some quality over quantity.

The hotel is located very close to the main touristic interest points of the city and it was very easy to reach by car. Our room was very clean and ordered. The staff was very welcoming, they gave us maps of the city and told us some things about the area. Breakfast was great, very tasty with a very wide variety of products.

First of all, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom. From my point of view, that is a must in every bathroom, especially when there is more than 1 person in that room. Second of all, we knew that the hotel does not have it's own garage and we parked the car in the garage indicated on Booking. However, after checking in on Saturday, we were informed by the hotel staff that we had to park somewhere else, in case we needed to drive out of the garage on Sunday before 3 pm. Due to a event in the area of the hotel, the garage was closing on Sunday. Since many quests had to change the garage, it was somewhat difficult to find a free space in the garage around the hotel.

The Theater hotel is the great place to stay in the Antwerp city centrum. It is situated bear by multiple parking where you can easy find parking spot to leave your car. The Hotel even has its own parking with direct access but be aware I noticed the message that you can leave the parking at Sunday ONLY after 3PM. I am not sure is it a temporary or a general rule. I stayed in a big suite. It has a spacy room with a table, chairs and sofa, a big bedroom and separate WC and bathroom with a shower AND bath tube. The interior is a bit tired and renovation would not be a mistake but in general the hotel offers strong 4 star experience. Tea/coffee amenities and a minibar also were available in the room. Both rooms are equipped with separate airco, that able to warm up or cool down the room. Airco air flow down blow to bed or your head when you are spending time in room. That is great. The offered breakfast is high quality. Wide range of fruits and vegetables, 'must have' offering like an bacon, omelette, sausages and beans. Fresh apple and orange juices, multiple selection of breads, yogurts and jams. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

No complaints that would ruined my time spent there. Someone may find pillow size critical, they were a bit small as for me, but there is a spare pillow in a wardrobe. Elevator is very tiny, so you may need some assistance to enter and leave it if you have big luggage.

The hotel is located in a quiet street in the centre of Antwerp, close to museums, theatres and... fashion shops. Easy check in, nice staff. Very good breakfast, all products were tasty and fresh. There is a cosy bar downstairs, too. The room was spacious, bed very comfortable. One can see there are things that are already worn out, but this adds a certain charm to the hotel...

A bit austere decor of the room. Claustrophobic lifts (stairs rather dangerous and unpleasant to take).

- The hotel is located between the Station and the City Centre, in a calm and safe area - Our room was huge, with a great view and all the necessary amenities (iron board, minibar, safe, kettle, bath kits) - The staff was really nice and helpful - Hotel is well kept, common areas are great and they have a lovely bar

We had a great stay. Just consider the following: - you have around 10 min (fast) or 15 min (relaxed) walking to the Cathedral and the main square - there is not a proper hairbrush in the room, so take yours with you if you are a lady with long hair

reception guy should have been informed that the usual parking rate is cheaper from late in the evening until morning than the day card he gave us. we ended up by paying 18 euros (standard day card) instead of 10.95 the actual price for 14 hours. not much money but absolutelly unprofessional to sell us the day card under this circumstances.

The location was excellent only 15 Minutes walking distance from the old town and 2 minutes from a very active modern shopping district. The weekly Market just 200 meters from the Hotel was a pleasant bonus. The gentleman at the reception was extremely friendly and did more than enough to ensure we have all the information we need for a pleasant stay in this lovely city. Highly recommended.

16 minutes walk from Antwerp central station. Restaurants, bars, shopping plazas everything is walking distance away. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. The rooms are properly sized.

The air-conditioning in the room did not seem to work and the Easter sun was pretty warm and the room had these nice windows although they were tinted the room was pretty warm so I had to crack open the windows for a bit to let the room cool down.

Breakfast was great lots of choice and variety. Room was comfortable

Some noise from events nearby. Separate toilet and bathroom - which made washing hands more difficult. The decor in the public spaces was rather dark and dreary. The room was hot, thought air-conditioning helped
