Slina Hotel Brussels

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. Hotel looks nice from the outside. Inside everything is clean 👍 I loved our double bed, it was really comfortable! Room was small but it worked and we just came for sleep to the hotel. What's especially nice was that the city/ grand-place is in 15 min walking distance! We were walking everyday to our trips. I especially have to say that the staff and owner were so nice, friendly and really helpful ! 🙏❤️

The only thing is that the hotel is in a not so clean area of the city. Yes we were also uncomfortable when we walked though this part of the city to the hotel but honestly don't let that be your reason to not stay in this hotel ! We really had an amazing experience here and would definitely rebook this hotel for a stay in Brüssel ! And trust me after the first "shock" it's not that bad anymore and you can just go your way and explore everything else in Brüssel.

I booked only about 20 minutes before checking in, at about 11pm, after disruption on German railways caused me to miss the last Eurostar from Bruxelles-Midi. The couple staffing reception were very helpful. My room was absolutely fine, old fashioned but clean and comfortable. The streets immediately round the hotel were peaceful, but I was glad I had decided to take a taxi from Bruxelles-Midi - the area round the station is very crowded and noisy, and as an elderly woman on her own with a large suitcase I was obviously vulnerable. I checked out early; the lady who had been so concerned the previous night accompanied me into the street to make sure I knew how to get back to the station, so kind! The walk to the station was about ten minutes through quiet streets.

The price! I was travelling on a tight budget and hadn’t planned to spend a night in the centre of a capital city. However, I guess the price was average for the area.

The team was very nice and helpful. The location is Ok, only 15 minutes walk from ‘grand place’. The area itself where the hotel Is located, is not the best, but is OK. We liked very much the parking which was offered by the hotel so our car could be parked safely (it was 31/12/23 when we were there, so lots of people in Brussels and there were some fireworks in the street, luckily this stopped after 1.30 pm).

I saw many bad reviews but my experience was very good. Staffs were very helpful and room was very clean. It’s a small room with basic facilities, but I think it’s ok for the price. Location looks little off , but there are many good restaurants and shops in the street.

The street is not that good but we can expect it in a location near by main station.

the room was cleaned daily. Large and comfortable bed. 20 minutes walk until the Grand Platz. very Close to the metro station (5minutes walk); friendly and helpful staff i Could left my luggage after i checked out, unlimited time

very Bad area, Did not feel safe. no air conditioning in the room and no fridge, Even if this was a “deluxe room”. i asked for breakfast and the lady Told me a higher price than online and she Told me it will be served between 7 and 8 because they are very busy, even if everywhere (Even in the room) it was mentioned that the breakfast is served from 7 to 9. decided to eat in town. noisy. u can hear from other rooms if they are using the shower, the sink etc

Hotel is only 1.2 km from Grand Palace. Very friendly host.

Neighborhood with Arab people. It's mostly a very dirty environment and you don't feel very safe... beware of pickpockets. I was approached by two Turks trying to steal my mobile phone from my pocket in the way that they follow you and come close to your body and show magic tricks, but actually they want to distract you and steal your mobile phone or something valuable that you are carrying.

Super friendly staff, we arrived by car and the staff was already waiting for us outside to prepare to park the car inside. The staff received us super well, the night person spoke our language and was a nice person.

No real complain... if we need to add something in this box, would be the lift that was a bit slow... but not really a complain

This was the nicest budget stay I’ve had throughout my travel so far! the room was clean, bathroom was really clean as well with hand soap, shampoo and soap all provided. the bed was comfortable and big, and i really appreciate that they change free towel for us and make our room everyday. Not to forget, Slina Hotel has the nicest staffs! They are all really friendly and super nice to us, allowing us to check in early and chatting with us in the morning, getting to know their guests. they definitely made the stay a better one, and i recommend slina to anyone looking for a stay in brussels!

Really do not have much to fault the place, except maybe the room is not very big, which makes it hard to walk about and sit down.

The reception staff were really friendly and let us check in early which was really helpful. A great budget hotel - very clean, good soundproofing from the street and everything working well. Would recommend for anyone looking for a reliable budget hotel.

Really nice staff if you speak French, willing to help. The room was surprisingly clean and comfortable, as well as ample room. The hotel is close to the central station. They also offer parking for a fee.

As mentioned before, the location of the hotel is not in the nicest neighborhood of Brussels.
