Canterra Suites Hotel

I love everything these suites offer. Good kitchen. Clean bathroom. Comfy bed with great pillows. Lots of room. Warm parkade. Fireplace. Very quiet and cozy.

No hot water the first morning. Got the wrong room - but that worked out just fine in the end. We booked a double queen room with a fireplace, called to double check and make sure I booked the right one and was assured I had. When my hubby went to check in, it was the wrong room - it was lovely, but without a fireplace. Was eventually given a single bedroom with a queen and fireplace. Bit of a downgrade but only needed one bed anyway. The rest of our stay was very nice.

Spacious suite, close to Save-On supermarket and restaurants, room clean daily, laundry, tv in all rooms, equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms.

Quite noisy , car noise on street, very noisy during weekend from bars and restaurants nearby.

Room was nice, location was great, near lots of restaurants and a grocery store.

The room needed a deep clean. The sinks, kitchen, fridge, bathtubs toilets were clean but the walls and baseboards needed a scrub. At one point we dropped something under the couch and there was old food and dust. The couch Needs to be moved and cleaned underneath.

A great location with very courteous and helpful staff. We only stayed one night but wish that it could have been longer. We will be sure to book again when staying in Edmonton.

The access to the parkade is a little tricky, but once you know where to go all is good :-)

Canterra is a destination of choice for my daughter and I when we go to the big city a couple times a year. We love to stay in the suites that allow us to each have our own rooms and bathrooms, my girl feels like a princess! Always nice and clean. Location is great, lots of terrific local shops close by.

I think our only complaints would be #1 the parking, and #2 the hot water is not very hot, but it is an old hotel, and it works great for us!

Room was large and comfortable. No noisy people moving around the hallways at night. Lots of options to eat nearby, even a grocery store if we wanted to utilize the kitchen in our suite. Water pressure in the shower was really good.

The pillows on the bed were oddly uncomfortable. No usb outlets in the suite so you need to bring your own. Just basic cable package on the tv, only a few channels. Option for streaming would be nice.

We stayed here during my daughter's basketball camp at Grant Macewan. The location was superb for walking there and was so handy for the LRT. We were able to park our vehicle for the whole week. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen was so well stocked, the beds were comfy, the bathtub was phenomenal for a soak, and the in suite laundry was super convenient for the sweaty basketball gear :) The staff was very kind and helpful.

We had a lovely two night stay at Canterra Suites. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with the basics and having a washer/dryer was a big bonus. Parking was fairly easy and it made exploring Edmonton easy.

The suite we had was very big and extremely reasonable priced, definitely to recommend. We liked the space, the cleanliness, the well equipped kitchen. And the night porter was super funny and friendly.

There is not really much to say here. There is a quite loud street in front of the house. But when you leave the windows closed, it is totally possible to sleep well.

We really enjoyed the whole experience at the Canterra. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The suite has a full kitchen, dishwasher and laundry, also lots of room for a family of 5.

Noisy at night, but you are staying in the middle of a city so it is to be expected.
