JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District

The hotel provides us a good room with all functional amenities. It is located in an area that is easily accessed and close to downtown which makes it easy to access anything in Edmonton. We enjoy this hotel. -All was excellent as expected

The staff were amazing. Everyone we encountered was extremely polite and welcoming. The lady at check in asked if we had any plans for the weekend and I told her it’s my husbands birthday. When we checked to the room, a man brought champagne and a cake with a note that said happy birthday which was so sweet! The amenities were amazing. The gym and pool area is top tier. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was really tasty! Overall, we would love to stay here again!

The rooms were very clean and modern, the bathroom was amazing. Staff very helpful and the most important thing for us was the valet parking, albeit very expensive.

The access to the hotel from the pedway - we either had to phone front desk to get 'buzzed' in or walk down a lot of stairs. My husband is blind so the stairs were impossible for him. We found it far too expensive for what was offered, no doubt corporate guests don't have to be concerned regarding the cost. As a couple in their 70s, we found it not really worth all that money.

Spectacular! The staff amd hotel were above and beyond expectation. The concierge Trish even made my husband a hand made card and Diana at the front was the most wonderful hostess ever. All staff go above and beyond, right down to the valets. Amazing service.

Not related to the hotel but we were really hoping g to enjoy the grand villa casino and it was terrible. No people, no machines, just depressing really. Won't be going back there again. As far as food, wish there were more appetizer options.

The hospitality was outstanding. Rabha did our room service and she was amazing Every single person I interacted during my stay have shown great hospitality skills. Heads-off guys

Its not a complaint but was little shocking. I paid for room with breakfast but at the hotel, I was given a voucher of $50 discount. Rest I have to pay which I dont mind paying at all, but its better to communicate upfront. Last minute news are sometime deal breaker for me. Booking.com should mention it as a warning icon when customers are booking. Secondly, its would be nice to have soundproofing for the rooms, not all but certain when customer particularly ask for such room. I was able to hear chit chats 1-2am and its hard for me to sleep again..

When booking the accommodations we told them it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and they gave us a nice room and included a small bottle of bubbly and snacks along with a handwritten card and flower petals on the bed. A very welcoming gesture. Super friendly staff very accommodating. I would recommend the hotel to everyone.

The lounge on the main floor was very chilly to sit in. A design flaw but could be easily remedied with either more fireplaces/heaters and/or lap blankets:).

The staff at JWM were awesome! We went there to celebrate our 10th year anniversary, upon arrival, they had upgraded our room and had rose petals on the bed, champagne, chocolate and the sweetest note! The location and the facilities were fantastic as well! Great access to everything we needed. Breakfast was good too, one time our breakfast came late but the restaurant did not charge us because we had waited for so long, so all in all pretty super experience.

Drink service at the lobby bar at 10:30pm was horrible. Probably some of the worst service ever. They said they weren’t affiliated with the hotel??? It’s in the Hotel! Don’t expect good service in the bar. The waitress said it’s like that every weekend. The rest of the hotel, staff, restaurant, hidden lounge was Excellent as usual! Highly Recommend.

The Staff were amazing, unfortunately I didn't get all their names, but Emily and Ralph were exceptional. Everyone was friendly ,efficient, and knowledgeable. The robes and slippers were a nice touch,as well as the complimentary water and coffee. The restaurants and the views from our room added to our stay and we will definitely be back!

There were no ice machines to chill our champagne.

Preety did a PHENOMENAL job at making my daughters special day one she will never forget. I cannot even begin to describe how amazing she made our stay. I’ve never experienced such genuine guest service in all my life, and I’ve stayed in many hotels, including various Marriotts. I am beyond impressed with the staff at this location, good job to whenever finds such rare talent!
