Chateau Nova Yellowhead

nicely designed and run facility. small onsite pub and lounge. easy access to the yellowhead highway and anthony henday. comfortable beds.

bathroom floors, shower, and sink not completely clean on surfaces and around the perimeters (soap scum, dust, etc). also pot and cig smoke in 4th floor hallway on a couple of nights. do hotel staff not walk/monitor the hallways occasionally in the evenings? night? finally, snack vending machines were 3/4 empty when we arrived and were never refilled for the whole 5 days we were there.

The room was nice. The fridge was a larger bar fridge. The room had a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes & dish towels. The ice maker was right at the elevator. The front desk staff were nice as was the restaurant & lounge staff.

The breakfast at the restaurant was just okay. Eg. seasonal fruit??? Same cantaloupe, melon etc. which was all rock hard. Avocado hard as rock on the California Benny. The pillows in the room were too big - very uncomfortable.

Clean place, good sized rooms and friendly helpful staff.

Construction in the area is a mess. Getting anywhere in that particular area is very difficult. You needed to pay careful attention when you're driving in the area, as the turn off and GPS make it difficult to navigate the area. The hotel could do travelers a big favor by installing USB ports in the rooms, instead of telephone jacks. That would help a great deal when charging a phone.

Beautiful, clean, large and well appointed room. I specifically liked the classy room decor with the old B&W photographs and also that the room had an independent heating system that could be set to the desired temperature and worked really well. The on site restaurant is on the pricey side but both the food and service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, quite,good location, good value

Great staff and a really classy place. I wish they had room service since they did have a restaurant but otherwise it was a good stay. Loved the room and sitting area. Lots of fun furniture...

No room service. Not really much negative to say.. but it says 3 sentences is good. Thanks! Keep up the great work guys. Not every review has to have a negative.... in my honest opinion.... Annd that's enough words.

The beds are ridiculously comfortable... and I am crazy picky. I slept like a baby. Also the location is great. It's out of the way enough that you're not worried about your car in the city, but close enough to the main arteries that everything is 'minutes away'

I hate to say it, but the closet (which we didn't need to use anyway) smelled like cat pee... strong enough that it hit you if you opened the closet door, but not strong enough to notice if you didn't lol ... it was a little surprising considering how clean everything else was! "Nature's Miracle" guys!

Loved how well-appointed the rooms were (including a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, as well as supplementary items: toaster, kettle, dish ware, salt & pepper!). Very cozy bed. Friendly staff. Clean, open hallways. AC that worked well. Food in the restaurant and lounge was reasonably priced and very tasty (ate in both twice).

I think the only fault I could find was the pillows. They were lovely and full, but I prefer something squishier that I can tuck under my head, and these were all just too full. Maybe a variety of pillows would be nice.

Room was great, clean and towels were fresh. The staff is frendly as always. Location was good. There are roadworks in the area but this did not cause any delay.

The chair in the room was not comfy and felt like you will fall over backwards when sitting on it. We did not use it and sat on the beds any ways so no harm done.

Bacon was perfectly cooked Service was excellent

Ate in the lounge the first night of my stay. The poor girl was running around trying to keep up. Definitely under staffed in that department. My dinner guests and I were happy with everything we ate except my steak sandwich which was ordered rare came to the table as medium. The bruschetta on the other hand was exceptional

Comfortable beds, nice room, well- stocked room as well. Didn't expect to find some small kitchen appliances, cutlery, plates, and even a small dishwashing station in the cupboards.

The halls were loud. There was some kind of film or news story shooting in my hallway with no warning, and a very loud family with kids who kept running up and down the hall.
