Sandman Signature Edmonton Downtown Hotel

My kids loved the pool. It wasn't anything fancy, not even big. Just the right size. What we love the most is that a part of the pool is designed for kids 4ft below. My son is not really a fan of floaties so the thought that he can swim without it is a big check for us. Nit a lot of hotel have that and it made my son's day.

My family and I booked a premium King bed. Everything was exceptional except for the toilet that I am not sure if broken or just made that way. Every time we flush the toilet, it seems not to do anything at all.

the staff is amazing! the bed is excellent! the bathroom is not tiny. my dog was made to feel very welcome! the lounger and coffee table in the room made it a very homey place.

The roman shades don't function, fall off and are poorly made, and some curtain hooks are out of their holes. These things are very evident, and since one of the shades was half off the top attachment already when I entered the room, quite off-putting in a lovely room.

Very nice large room, had the deluxe with 2 queen beds. Our room was 714 and very quiet. The quilts/duvets/robes super comfy. The room quality was great! We liked having the restaurant/bar downstairs, used it, excellent. We used the fitness area, very good. Wished we had time for the pool. Location across street from a mall convenient. Walked to a movie in the mall one evening. Staff at front desk super nice. Really did not expect the quality rooms/amenities for the price we paid. Good location to areas, used Uber to Jubilee Auditorium, Whyte Ave. shops and more.

The underground parking is $28 a night and not guaranteed. So if you go out all day and leave your spot and return to a full lot, too bad, so sad, find another parking lot. How ridiculous is that??!! No problem for us as no big events were happening on our stay.

Location was great so close to Rogers! Just a quick walk and your right there…

I ended up getting a parking ticket because they didn’t explain if I didn’t get the plate number of my vehicle I would get a ticket! I just thought there was a code you punch into a machine to be able to exit the building…I ended up forgetting with the excitement of the night with the girlfriends and now I have to deal with a ticket… wish they would of mentioned that to me it would of made a big difference!

Beautiful room and interior of hotel

Getting to hotel was complicated as it is Iocated on a one way street that every turn to get there is the wrong direction. Parking , vehicle had a roof carrier (not large car/carrier) could not fit in park g garage. Parking either way you have to pay extra. We ended up in an open parking lot. Location of hotel was in a desolate area that has security guards wandering the street.

I really loved the location and the front desk staff I dealt with in person were amazing! Super nice and were knowledgeable about the area.

Dealing with the hotel over the phone. It’s incredibly hard to get a hold of them and the staff were incredibly short on the phone. The lady I talked to was nice though! The guy I spoke with was quite abrupt and clearly didn’t feel like speaking with me

Cheaper than other hotels, convenient location to Roger's Place and restaurants. Love the pedways. Front desk staff very nice.

No menus or QR codes in room for room service. Hairs in bathroom. Comforter had blood stains on it and looked dirty, covered up by flat sheets to hide it. No bottled water, and vending machines empty so we had to order in from Skip. Had to park at City Center Mall because parking was full at hotel at 3pm.

Comfy beds, quiet room, and staff was very lovely. Bathroom was a decent size and showers were good. We were only there for one night, but overall it was a great location to walk to Rogers Place!

Parking was full, but we were there for the Blink-182 concert, so it was to be expected. It just would have been nice to have better direction on where else to park as we are not from Edmonton.

We are locals and stayed here for a date night to go to an Oilers game. Very central to the arena and for taking the bus downtown. The lounge at CHOP was a great spot for their happy hour before and after the game. Had an executive suite, it was spacious and great value for the money.

The location of the bed in our suite was just across the hall from the elevators, so there was a little bit of mechanical noise associated with this through the stay.

Everything was great: check-in, staff, room. Tried the restauarant for the first time and found the staff and food great.

Had some difficulty with the AC setting but figured it out for the 2nd day. I would have appreciaed a feather pillow. Rigid foam pillows leave you with a kink in the neck. I'm still waiting to see the final invoice for the stay which was to be emailed to me.
