BCMInns - Hinton

We could not have stayed at a better hotel for customer service above and beyond, from getting our pet friendly room ready 4 hours early and letting us straight in, to assisting with gluten free options at breakfast. We had car issues and were forced to stay 3 nights, all the staff were so friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. A special mention has to be for Casey on the front desk his empathy towards our difficult situation and great customer service is a credit to the hotel, a very caring person who really helped our situation. If you need an overnight stop we would definitely recommend this chain of hotels and especially the Hinton BCMInns. Breakfast was a great choice, hot and plenty of options, good coffee. A big thank you to Casey your customer service really is 5 star and you can tell you enjoy your job and thank your boss for understanding and assisting on the last night rate. The large rooms are comfortable and cosy with everything you need and you only have to ask the front desk for any extra supplies you need.

Everything! There was a good selection for breakfast. My toddler enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the the hot tub. The staff were all friendly and hospitable and were always very eager to assist us whenever we would have questions and need help. We got the room where we can cook, got all the basic necessities! Beds were comfy and room was clean. Bonus for free laundry. We'll def book with BCMInns when we visit the area again! I've worked with another hotel chain before and have been to other hotels including this area, this one exceeded our expectations. Excellent service!

The hot breakfast was very good, but there wasn't enough room for guests to sit and eat. The beds in the room were very comfortable. The carpet is very old with places where its loose, not stretched tight, easy to trip on. The room was very clean. We didn't experience the pool area. There's plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Organize the breakfast area better, for example put the coffee station separate from the food line so that there's not a crowd waiting for coffee blocking people from getting food or juice.

Our stopover at this hotel turned out to be a delightful experience. The location was simply perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. It made our stay hassle-free and enjoyable. Upon entering our room, we were pleased to find well-maintained and comfortable accommodations. The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and relaxing environment after a long day of traveling. While we were initially disappointed to discover there were no towels in the room, our concerns were quickly resolved by the attentive and efficient front desk staff. After a brief complaint, they promptly provided us with everything we needed, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. Considering the excellent location, pleasant rooms, and the exceptional service we received, the hotel offers great value for money. It is a fantastic option for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stopover. We would gladly stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

In the morning, we were eager to enjoy breakfast, but we were taken aback by the bustling crowd in the area. The breakfast space felt incredibly cramped and inadequate for the number of guests present. It was disappointing to see plenty of people queuing up, struggling to find seating nearby, and waiting for a chance to eat. The hotel management should seriously consider expanding the breakfast area to accommodate more guests comfortably. With the current size, it becomes challenging for everyone to have a relaxed and enjoyable breakfast experience. Extending the breakfast area would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest satisfaction and contribute to a more positive stay at the hotel.

BCMInns is located about 45 minutes east of the town of Jasper, making it an affordable and relatively convenient stay for a short visit to the National Park. Our stay included breakfast which was served in the lobby with an overflow room nearby. However, we took advantage of the table in the room itself to have a quiet breakfast "at home". A table and chairs in the room is always a very nice, but fairly rare feature. The breakfast was good standard fare (eggs, bacon or sausage, yogurt, cereal) and a pleasant way to start the day. Two things stood out: The staff and the availability of toiletries such as toothpaste. Everything that a traveler needed was available.

This is my favorite Hinton hotel room to date, and I have done a LOT of hotel-ing in Hinton over the years. The BCMI is a beautiful and modern hotel. My room had outdoor access, which meant I could park my vehicle right outside the door, which is very convenient on frosty mornings. The room was large and very clean, with a full kitchen and a single-serve Keurig machine, which was a HUGE plus for me. There is a separate bedroom within the room, which is invaluable when traveling with teenagers. Both rooms had independent climate control that worked well and ran quietly. A note on customer service: the room I was initially given stank of cigarette smoke, and when I let the front desk know, the gal on shift immediately found me another room!

I liked everything

It was very a very nice hotel and they provide a wonderful continental /buffet breakfast. Staff will go above and better to rectify a problem which they did. Thank you so much.

I had asked for a quit room and the first room we got smelled like cigarettes. not sure if it was an old smell, but it was stuffing me up. I think one of those Berger lamps in the room for a couple hours would help illuminate that. The other problem was the noisy guests who allowed their three year old to run up and down the hallway, screaming and slamming the door for two hours after midnight. Staff were excellent dealing with all counts. There isn't anything bad one could say about the hotel or the staff, as they were amazing.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with all required amenities provided. The breakfast buffet was large with many options. The location is close enough to drive to Jasper National Park. Pool, gym and laundry room can be used free of charge. There are many restaurants and stores in Hinton.

The coffee at the breakfast is very thin, basically flavored water (not a big deal as there is a coffee machine in the room as well). The walls are a bit thin, we could hear the people downstairs snoring and the neighbors watching TV. While the rooms are really nice, the hallways look a bit old and sad.
