Tara Vista Inn

The location was great, with it being located right off the highway and nestled between everything you need. Staff was very friendly and the check-in process went very well. Despite being close to the highway we didn't hear much if any highway traffic. The interior of the room was clean and well maintained, but it is dated. However, we slept really well as both the bed and sleeper sofa were very comfortable.

The access to the Inn was blocked by road construction, which was no fault of the Inn Staff. The Road Crew were very accommodating though, and the construction noise stopped by 8pm and didn't start until after 8am the following day.

Person at reception was nice, beds were very comfortable, clean place. Overall a pretty good place. We stayed for two nights: when we came back at the end of the second day, room service had been done with bed mades, change of towels and garbage emptied.

Unfortunately had a lot of noise from either upstairs or room next door with what sounded like children running around. No breakfast. Found it expensive for a motel.

A really nice facility. Beds were ample and comfortable. I liked the layout and enjoyed the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt the price was reasonable. A good place to stay while traveling the parks. Just an hour to Jasper and Maligne Canyon. Right next to Smitty's, which was a good restaurant as well. Would certainly return.

It was a dark room as it had no light on the desk. The desk was high enough to put my long legs under it. I didn't have to use the desk but would have asked for a light if I had needed to.

The staff are super friendly, and very helpful. The room was clean, quiet, easy to get to, and you could park right out front. The price was right as well. Didn't hear my neighbors at all. Fridge and AC worked well and the room was a good size.

It's your typical motel type accommodation, that being said, ladies don't forget to bring your hairdryer, as there was not one in our room.

The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the location was good - near restaurants. We went to the Canadian Steakhouse and I would recommend that - very good!

The shampoo was not good quality. It had a chemical smell to it. Definitely would recommend either bringing your own or the motel changing the brand.

Staff were over and above in their customer service. If for no other reason we'll stay here again. Rooms, although dated, were clean and well stocked.

Leave heat on - even in the summer. We had a little guy with us and he needed a bit more warmth. Then, to be fair, the staff immediately brought us a good space heater to keep him warm.

The front desk attendant was very good about letting me leave early when my work schedule changed. No questions just gladly gave me my refund. They come and clean the room everyday.

I really had no complaints.

Feels homey. Quiet. Friendly staff. Beds are super comfy. Deep tub, very clean. I’ll be back.

Don’t let the drapes and comforter fool you. Old motel but very well kept. TV could be bigger but I don’t use it.

Whdt breakfast??? No one told us about breakfast??? Quiet. We had a good night's sleep. Friendly staff. Clean. No rugs. Comfortable bed

Not knowing about breakfast. Also some wayer damage in bathroom that could be easily fixed.

Staff were helpful and pleasant, room was clean. It was an older hotel with a spacious room - quiet and non smoking with a comfortable bed. Easy to unload and load up the van from the parking lot. The location was convenient although not close to shopping. Fridge was cold

It could have used another chair and perhaps a small table as we eat breakfast in the room ( esp with Covid restrictions). The fridge was geared for drinks- not food- Parking by the stairs was tight with a big truck next to us.
