Sunwolf Riverside Cabins

We booked last minute and were only able to stay 1 night of our 3, but glad we did! You can tell much love has and continues to go into this place. The cabins have been tastefully remodeled with a modern Nordic cabin feel, fireplaces, comfy beds/bedding, dimmable lights and a clever use of space to get a full kitchen and bath. The river behind creates a very peaceful backdrop and also muffles any noise you might otherwise hear from others around. You feel like you have the woods to yourself. We loved spending time at the river and falling asleep to the sounds of it. Great place to enjoy the morning coffee too! The restaurant was fantastic! Appreciate the dog friendly atmosphere (sadly hard to find)! 5 star all around! Will be back.

Wish the restaurant was open a little later than 3pm for a bite/drink to enjoy something after check-in.

This place is an absolute gem. We only booked for a night and wished we could stay longer. It is a peaceful haven. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and smiling. The cabins are really cute and cosy. We sat at the pic nic table for drinks and food and really enjoyed how quiet the surroundings were. The river is literally in front of the cabins so the sound of the river is very relaxing. The food at the cafe (we had breakgfast) is the best I had had in weeks. Absolutely amazing and the staff once again was wonderful. I wish to come back!

We loved everything.

The property, the cabin, the environment were all amazing! You are out in the woods and you have the opportunity to feel close to the nature. There is no internet connection which is wonderful if you are looking for peace and quiet. The cabins are very clean and well equipped with everything you will need. The bathroom is very clean with a good shower. The bed is very comfortable. This is a perfect get away place- best to spend at least 2-3 days or more here.

Nothing at all

One big problem with our stay - we just didn’t stay long enough ! One night only, but it was everything we wanted it to be. Having just been on a cruise up to the Hubbard Glacier, we decided to do 5 night road trip before flying back home to the UK. The Sunwolf Loggers Shack was our first nights stay and whilst we stayed in some great hotels, this was easily the best. Great location, accommodation, people and food at Fergie’s. Being in the woods in a very cool cabin with a bed in the cute loft and so close to the river made for a memorable stay.

Should have stayed longer, but that was our fault entirely 😁 Will know better next time…..

it gave us a nice cabin experience away from the city and it felt really cosy, surrounded by snow and a beautiful river at the back of the cabin! the room was so so spacious and had so much kitchenware available for us to utilise. will be more than happy to be back again next time!

the thermostat did not seem to be working too well; we adjusted the temperature down couple times but it was still pretty warm in the room, so my partner did not feel rested due to discomfort

A modern cabin. Very quite to sleep at night and near to nature. Big enough for couples. Good kitchenette. Comfortable bed and Sofa bed comes in handy. Short drive to the towns. Beautiful scenery. They got a charming small fire place. No EMF in the area. Even the sound of cars is almost nil. Complete privacy from other cabin and occupants. Pets friendly is a plus. Non smoking room policy is just what i need for someone who is allergy to smoke.

Lack of internet and my cell phone provider does not have the reach. End up going to starbuck a lot for internet connection. No microwave, or bbq on site but we manage with a oven.

Cabin was great. Clean, comfy beds, great bathtub. I'd love to come back in the summer but see that you're already pretty heavily booked. Maybe next year. BTW, this was our first stay with you and we were actually going skiing at Whistler. It was an easy 30min drive to Creekside. You should market yourselves to the ski market.

I get that many people want to be totally unplugged but personally I'd like some access to wifi. Even if only in the reception building or at Fergies. Re Fergies - brunch was great but it would be great if dinner was available. Or maybe a crossover menu of lunch items and brunch, but open later would be great. Maybe a little more of some sort of storage for clothing - wall hooks, small dresser or something.

Beautiful authentic escape in the woods in a loggers cabin. Amazing brunch breakfast. Free parking outside. Straightforward easy to follow directions to find and easy to access even out of hours. Comfy beds well equipped kitchenette.

Bugs (in the forest near the river) - but screens. Hot - no air con but good fans ( difficult to open the windows because of the bugs!)

The location, you're out in the nature - completely turned off from the 'Internet world'. A time to relax, go for walks and really plug out of the day to day stress. Beds are very comfy, temperature can be easy arranged/adjusted and the kitchen has everything that you need!

If anything... Then it would have been the water pressure in the shower. Maybe I am just used to the powerful pressure at home, but I washing your hair does take a little bit longer. Me being picky.

It was way too great to stay at Sunwolf, definitely beyond our expectations. We barely saw other people and staff, as it was very important for us to disconnect from the city, wifi, and people. 100% recommend this place and will come back :)

Not all the cabins have closets, which would be great to have as we were with a toddler and it would be a lot easier to hide things from her in the closed rather then mostly on the selves and under the bed. But it was not critical. More important would be to have a sort of a gate available per request to block the access to a fireplace, so the little one does not get close.
