Elks Motel

Greeted & checked in by George. Wonderful manager. Any questions about the stay or the area, ask away. The motel met expectations. The bed's were comfy. The showers were hot & had great pressure. The motel is central & great for a place to lay your head after exploring the interior & all the fun around.

The wifi was a bit draggy the first night. Only the kids seemed to notice. The parking can be a bit tricky if you want right infront of your unit, but we didn't mind parking at end of lot (not far). It made for a cool, shaded car in the morning.

The host, George, was friendly, helpful, and always available. We were happy to have ground level for taking in all our luggage, food supplies, etc. The kitchen was most appreciated.

The shower tub was very slippery, the curtain hung down into bottom of tub, and no rail or hand-hold for getting in or out of tub safely - recommend this be dealt with for safety precautions.

Friendly manager, room was decently clean and beds comfortable. Convenient location and was quieter then expected which was nice. Light continental breakfast was available which included yummy homemade muffins, cereal, toast, hard-boiled eggs and juice/coffee/tea.

The room was spotless, looked newly renovated and was well equipped (kitchenette), very comfortable. Location good with lots of fruit stands, cideries, wineries etc. within easy reach as well as a few restaurants, shops and grocery store. Very quiet, well run motel and excellent value. Generous continental breakfast was a bonus.

This was a challenging time because many people had been evacuated to the hotel because of the fires. That was not the case for us but the check-in person was super friendly and the hotel was well run.

I was a little disappointed that the hot tub was out of service at the time. Some things cannot be avoided however.

The Motel was easy to find, right off main Hwy. Parking right in front of my room was great. Room was clean

Front desk person was a little short in checking me in. Motel yard was quite messy, things laying around. Could be housing permanent residents, so RCMP were on site dropping off a drunk who apparently lives at the motel. No breakfast to speak of. Although dishes in the kitchen, no utensils to eat with. Thankfully I had a plastic spoon on hand.

As far as motels go this was clean, comfortable and well located. Have stayed here a few times over the years now and will definitely stay again. Spacious rooms, love the full size fridges, friendly staff/owners.

I booked online via bookings.com an hour before some friends did. Exact same room on same night, right next to each other and was charged $50 more. Kinda not cool.

Keremeos is a delightful little town surrounded by vineyards and orchards - love the wine/cider tasting and fruit stands! Motel was good value, very clean and well maintained. Cleaning staff especially very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable, lots of room to sit and relax (with wine!). Fridge and microwave etc. provided. Several restaurants and some shopping (grocery etc.) within walking distance. BBQ, hot tub and gym advertised but not open due to Covid 19 pandemic regulations. Very quiet and relaxing place with shady area to sit outside if desired.

Hot day, air conditioner necessary but noisy (aren't they all?) Fridge was also noisy and I had to switch it off at night to sleep.

Well appointed, clean room and large courtyard area with a big beautiful willow. Close to fruit stands.

The bathroom door did not close properly, but would be an easy fix, and since we travelled with family it was not a big deal for us. The breakfast on offer was lack luster (cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee).

Great area to view the hills, awesome windy nights, close to everything you could need. Pleasant!
