The Inn is beautiful and provides a rare and unique experience. Every room in this majestic mansion tells a fascinating story about its rich history, and the surrounding gardens are stunning! Our host was courteous and welcoming. It is located a few minutes' walk from the town's center.

Despite the fact that the beautiful Inn is a historic landmark, it needs a bit of maintenance improvements, as well as some interior upgrades. The room and corridor were decorated with artifacts such as the stuffed dolls and animals (we do appreciate the meaning of the nostalgic and historic items, but think that they are clogging the spaces and overall unnecessary). The same applies to some decorative yet not so practical furniture items in the room. The floor and bedside lamps in our room still use fluorescent light-bulbs (instead of energy efficient LED's) and some lights did not work at all. The bathroom door could not be closed entirely due to the old hardwood floor deformation.

Nice location with lovely grounds with plenty of places to sit outside. I found the inn to be absolutely beautiful with its rich history and period furnishings and decorations. Very charming. Our room was clean and comfortable for the most part. Had dinner one evening in the restaurant. Food was a bit expensive but very good. The plantings/ trees and gardens were a treat to find and enjoy.

I'm an avid gardener, and the plastic flower planters threw me off that lined the porch upper edge and thought there were a touch to many outdoor statue decorations. There were a lot of dolls dotting the inn and a rather large stuffed dog on my bed. I know this is a bit trivial, but I found it overdone. There wasn't coffee offered "on the house," and that certainly would have been nice for me. Thankfully, I was able to purchase a cup with refills from the front desk. Stayed in roon #5, and another room in the buildings plumbing was malfunctioning and very loud when turned on. Woke my friend and I up a couple of times out of a sound sleep. All in all, beautiful inn and we enjoyed our stay.

I liked this Inn that dates back to the 1850's and all of the quirkiness that comes with it (husband not so much ...). The garden was very nicely laid out and decorated with figurines. Inside the Inn were also many period decorations, some which were attained from previous owners. Fun to walk around and explore the place.

There was maybe TOO much in the way of dolls, stuffed animals and cuteness (husband's opinion) that got in the way of using chairs and seeing the interior architecture, but they did add to the charm (my opinion).

I love old atmospheric places that breathe many stories of the life of this world. This hotel some that. We had the impression that we were in the Georgian era. Even the gentleman at the reception looked like a lord))) Our room was in a separate room with a great design stylized as the old times and very comfortable. We got special pleasure from the garden, even in early spring and empty it creates a very cozy atmosphere. It must be incredibly beautiful there in the summer. I very grateful to the owners of this hotel for our pleasure of staying here.

This is an experience for people who like old Victorian homes and great meals. This is top dining but not for millennials (i.e. not gluten free etc.) This is the food that most New Brunswickers would recognize from top restaurants of the last century. however, just up the street there are gluten free bakeries and other great treats for breakfast. This is completely what I expected and I was not disappointed.

We could not open the windows in our bedroom and had to keep the air conditioner on to create a breeze.

This is an exceptional place & is pet friendly. The grounds are large & lovely. Fine dining available at property & it’s so historical feeling. Visitor guest list for restaurant impressive (Desmond Tutu, etc). The seafood crepe was super and it’s the first time I’ve experienced a truly elegant tea service after dinner (warmed cup no less)!

Bed & pillows satisfactory. Had some challenges figuring out the air conditioner. The restaurant is probably past it’s prime given the low customer volume & that’s a shame.

The atmosphere of this historic inn is so unique and lovely in a gracious old-fashioned way. The manager was almost the entire staff when we were there as a major employee was out sick. As a result, however, the two of us were seated at a special table in the parlour. The food is extremely good.

For the reason above, the service was slow, but it was acceptable given the circumstance, and it allowed us to savour the atmosphere of the place and talk privately.

Grand old inn, Victorian decor and vibe - which is more or less what I expected. We had the Queens Room - fabulous bathtub, though jets didn't work. Spacious and comfortable.

The dolls in the decor. A little scary. Also excessive decor details. Windows didn't open in either of our rooms. Disappointing in August in Canada to have to rely on very noisy AC units for ventilation.

Close to everything. I cycled the town. Big back yard with chairs, picnic area. The decor!!! Wifi.

Not much here....I like a fire pit with seating in that gorgeous, quiet, scenic back yard. Some dust bunnies un my room. Turn fridge on before guest arrives. I travelled with a big cooler. No microwave or coffee , kettle access.

This building is spectacular. You are stepping back 100 years! Barry met us personally and was great in ideas for the town. Sackville is small so we went in to Moncton. We had dinner at the Inn and it was 'the best I have had in a very long time'. I had the seafood crepes which I would highly recommend. Wine list is a little skimpy but good value. Bed was a king size in our room and very comfy.

I have to look to find a fault and all I can come up with is we had no tv in our room...oh well.
