Future Inns Halifax Hotel & Conference Centre

The price was affordable and the room was bigger than other hotels of the same price. I also liked the view to the backyard snd the very close proximity to the highway. The room was clean and had everything we needed (micriwave and fridge). Staff was also very friendly.

There were 3 very small drawers, which for some people could be little storage room. There was no pool and no breakfast buffet either aside from a voucher they provided for the affiliated restaurant. The beddings were not changed once in our whole stay of 6 nights

Hotel staff was friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is ideal…very near to Bayern’s Lake for shopping, very near to the highway, not far from the downtown centre of the city which is a bonus.

Restaurant was a disappointment. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it was full of egg shells to the point that I couldn’t tolerate it so I didn’t eat it. I had only a couple of bites and a coffee. I told the server and instead of offering to replace it or take it off my bill, she took it away and brought me the bill and charged me for it. The name of the restaurant is the Redwood Grill. AVOID!

Rooms were well equipped and exceptionally clean; beds were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and fantastic to deal with. Lots of parking on the property; designated smoking area well marked. Had breakfast in the restaurant - food was great, and so was the service. We were in the area to attend a wedding, so the hotel was in a great location for us, and very easy to access. Reasonably priced; would definitely consider staying again.

Loud party in room next to ours; didn't settle down until midnight.

Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Staff was very helpful--we asked for a quiet room and were given a great room at the end of the hall on the top floor. Also gave us great visitor information on touring Halifax. Room was exceptionally clean and beds were comfortable. Small exercise room and laundry was a bonus. Ten minute walk to bus terminal to ride inexpensively into town, and ten minutes from groceries and bike path trailhead. Easy to access highway from hotel. Highly recommend!

The room was a good size, quiet, comfortable, and clean with a large TV. They used google chromecast which made streaming services very easy and convenient. I didn't test the internet speed but we had no problems with it. Check In was easy and the paid restaurant downstairs had a simple breakfast menu but was good.

The location is out of the way but not horribly far from Downtown Halifax (10 minute drive or transit is a 10 minute walk and takes just under an hour on an express bus). The facility is a little basic, the bar fridge was half as deep as most normal bar fridges, and they only had two dollys that were often in use.

Room was spacious and updated. Very clean. Had fridge, microwave and coffee in the room, although Fridge was a bit small. Bathroom very clean. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant on site although we did not eat there. We opted to go to one that had a patio to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Could benefit with a patio at the restaurant for the summer months. At the end of a day site seeing, it would have been nice to go sit and have a drink on a patio at your hotel so no worry of having to drive. We booked knowing there was no pool, but that would be a bonus to sit a relax by one, but on the other hand, the hotel was nice and quiet because noticed there were no families with kids because there was no pool.

The room was comfortable with a microwave, Keurig, and fridge (no little freezer, but ice machine on the 4th floor). Clean towels were brought to our room and the garbages were changed which was nice as we stayed there for 2 nights. There was lots of parking, which I often find is a problem at hotels. The on-site restaurant was nice.

I wish there was a breakfast included in the price. Even a coupon for the restaurant.

We felt the facility was immaculately maintained, towels/bedding/toiletries very high quality, bed was extremely comfortable and the staff outstanding. We were greeted by very professional staff who were friendly and helpful in every way. This hotel far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend it and stay again.

Loved everything

The room was exceptional, more of a suite, with two separated rooms, and a mini kitchen. Excellent for a family, really tidy and clean.

Having to have a credit card at check in. I know it's a "thing" but as someone looking to keep credit free in this financial situation, it is a pain when you want to pay with real actual money or debit cards.

Desk staff was very professional and helpful. I unfortunately dropped a take out- dessert in the lobby , on my way to check in. It was a mess, but I was assured not to worry, they would clean it up. The room was very clean and comfortable, as were the beds. I will stay here again for sure.

It would have been nice to have a breakfast available, but I understand with the covid viris pandemic, some things are not the same. I have stayed at other places and they gave a bagged breakfast, consisting of a breakfast sandwich, nutrigrain bar, yogurt, juice a fruit (apple or orange), and choice of coffee or tea. It was nice to have that great start to the day. Perhaps it is something your Future Inn could offer.
