great place to stay for a few days, it’s clean, has a good bathroom, the neighborhood is awesome, no bed bugs. I was suspicious at first due to all bad comments, but this hotel great if you don’t have super high expectations: clean, comfortable, practical, great geolocation and nice staff. Would recommend!

We can hear people in their rooms, but it’s not that bad. The AC is loud enough to cover all sounds. Wifi struggles a bit. No breakfast.

Great bargain stay, in the heart of Halifax! The room was tidy and clean with a comfortable bed, up to date tv and mini fridge. Both the kind woman during the day and gentleman at night, working the front desk were wonderful. The hotel itself is quaint and cozy, the price was amazing for the location and I am sorry to see the negative reviews. We felt totally safe and comfy while there. Will be back again!

I didn't like that there was no one there to support the desk clerk when she was being harassed by another guest. She is wonderful and deserves a raise!

Room was clean and comfortable. It was useful to have a fridge too. Staff were very helpful. Good customer service

Two quite odd things about this accommodation 1 At check in we were asked to pay a $200 returnable deposit. No reason was given for this. Apparently this requirement for $200 deposited is on the reservation confirmation which you only become aware of after you book! 2 At checkout we were asked to wait in the reception area which staff returned to check the room we had just left. Again no reason was given for this and it’s not anything we have ever experienced before.

located on one of the most interesting streets . right beside The Brown Hound and across from Hali Deli so we had great meals right beside us. The room was every bit as upscale as any we had stayed in a much more expensive hotel. very very clean room. Dont be fooled by the sketchy exterior and lobby decor.

it was quite cut up to get around . lots of fire doors.

I booked last minute. We weren't looking for anything fancy or lavish. The room was very clean; the building was quiet (no noise from surrounding rooms or hallways); the tub was great; the pillows were very comfortable. Check in and check out was super quick; the staff were very kind.

The mini fridge made a chugging noise and the microwave plug would only sit halfway in the socket and kept turning on and off, so we unplugged them.

I had read bad reviews ,but all the blab about bed bugs ,dirty rooms ,and undesirables ,simply were not true.I spent one night in one room and returned a few days later and stayed in another for four days ,both apartments were clean ,quiet and bug free.

No continental breakfast and it gets noisy out side.

The night staff Roy I think that's his name. Outstanding customer service was so helpful.was amazing 🙂 so helpful and friendly made you feel welcomed

No coffee but Tim's is not far it be 🙂 ve if they had a coffee Keurig even in the lobby area where the desk is so gas could even just pay a dollar for a coffee it would be awesome just

The room was clean and the bed was comfy! The air conditioner was new and worked exceptionally well as it was quite hot and humid for our one night stay.

The internet was shared with many other rooms and was very slow. No coffee in the room for the morning. Parking for one night was the unexpected extra expense.

The place is ok but the room is cold..I am glad brought my own blanket.

Just the room is cold. No parking just on the street but understandable not space for parking
