Best Western Plus Bowmanville

The front desk person deserves a raise. She was exceptional. Quite literally the sweetest person to my son. She made sure our stay was great. The breakfast was the BEST hotel breakfast we have had with a customized omlete bar. We enjoyed the pool and a quiet restful sleep. We couldn't ask for more!

If I had to critique anything, the beds are a little on the hard side but we still slept comfortably and the room was really clean and priced fairly.

Appearance was nice. close to a couple of restaurants and the pool was absolutely wonderful.

The toilet on our room was a bit annoying as it would run and take a long time to shut off. When we first arrived I was ready to leave as I believe it was the manager said “do you have cash” and that was due to Rogers being out but it was embarrassing in front of other coworkers. the rest of the staff was great! This was after spending hours on the 401. Needless to say everyone was tired.

Handy location off the 401 for a quick overnight stay. I had requested a quiet room, away from the elevator, so I was given a room at the end of the hall. I didn’t hear fellow travellers. There was a low hum of 401 traffic.

Glad to have breakfast provided but waffles tasted like sawdust unfortunately. Wifi was weak in my room, probably since it was at the end of the hall.

Very accommodating. We stayed overnight on the way to the airport for an early morning flight. Were able to grab a light breakfast before the restaurant opened up because we were leaving at 5am. Very thankful for that! 😊

I understand that with covid, breakfast is limited. The orange juice was delicious and the burrito was satisfactory. Great location. Convenient fast food right on site. Wish we had known about them.

The charges. My room was supposed to be $92.40 plus $20.00 for the dog. I was charged $149.41 which is already on my bank statement, so phoned the hotel. Was told all the money has been refunded but it won't show up for a few days. Was also charged $3.25 for something or other.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable and spacious room.

A quiet place to sit. Lounge area was full with a group of friends. Bathroom could have had a grab bar in shower.

Very clean, nice staff and in a quiet neighbourhood. Super close to the highway which is what we wanted as a quick stop over. We arrived at 1:30 am and the staff member checking us in was super helpful

Housekeeping tried opening our door twice at 9:30 am and 10am. Check out is not until 11am so we were surprised that housekeeping kept trying to enter before we even left. Other than that, everything was great

Place was really nice. Staff were friendly. Rooms were spacious with a nice colour theme. Will definitely stay again.

Not much to dislike, it was great facility.

The breakfast was better than i expected, with egg options! The room was well equipped (microwave, fridge, coffee maker) and very comfortable. The shower was divine. I noticed the member promo on my way out and signed up.
