Residence Inn by Marriott Whitby

Our flight was delayed hence a late night check in. I called to to inform them of the delay and I had no problem with them rescheduling. We received a warm welcome upon check in. The staff were very pleasant and also helpful during our stay whether or not a request was made. I remembered one morning my husband was waiting for strawberries and Ravi Soni the front office manager went in the kitchen for it himself because he realized that my husband wasn't attended to quickly enough. I also had an issue with money reflecting pending in my account but was quickly and professionally dealt with by the front desk manager. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We booked a one bedroom suite on the 4th floor and had no regrets. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Stores and restaurants are in close proximity.

One thing I didn't like is that one day we ran out of toiletries and we had to collect it at the front desk. They need to replenish when house keeping is done.

The staff are accomodating and friendly. Fast action when i need to fix some disfunction inside the bathroom and sink. The food is fine. The room with stove, microwave and fridge was great. The gym is small but it is fine also. The place is situated with some fastfood and easily to find in the map.

Our first night i didn't like it the sink is stagnant, the bathroom door or doorknob is not proper locking. They fixed but still it not locked properly . The full out bed doesn't have a good support for our back. The cushion is flat and we have back pain afterwards. 😫 The laundry is so hot 🔥.

Everything was clean, the breakfast was a delicious, and very helpful and organized staff

During my stay, there was someone trying to enter our suite, and it was very scary, however, the security and staff are always there. But they should put more restrictions on who enters the side doors and and the front desk

Comfortable and clean place to stay. It had everything we needed for our four night stay. I loved that we could cook our own meals if we wanted. Great breakfast options !

The TV was a little slow, and I couldn't hook up our gaming system. The heat was hard to control. It was either too hot or cool.And the bathroom sink wasn't in the bathroom it was outside. The bed was a little small.

We loved everything!! As a couple we don't live alone at the moment so this is an amazing suite to be on our own for a few days and enjoy the time alone. We also love that we were able to plug in a HDMI port and stream our movies from the laptop. We haven't encountered a hotel that let us do that yet. The rates were much cheaper than booking in Toronto and we get a whole suite, not just a room. We will definitely book here again!!!

Friendly staff. Amazing customer service. The technical guy came promptly to fix the tv connection. We were a little showing up for breakfast, but the ladies hurriedly brought some food back out for us.

We ended up not bringing our dog due to the hefty fees of $75 for pets. We believe this to be a little excessive.

wifi bad and in room movies did not work. bathroom was not handicap accessible and door stuck, making it hard ot open and close. dishwasher very loud.. mattress on pull out couch very thin

My husband and I travel often. We stay in hotels often. This was by far one of the best hotels. We were very impressed with everything. From friendly staff to clean rooms and being dog friendly! That was the best part.

Room was modern, clean and well outfitted for a stay away from home with children. Each and every staff member was super friendly and accommodating. Even our pet enjoyed the space!

Having to go to the front desk to ask for everything since rooms are only cleaned once a week.

It was clean and the room was pretty nice, I liked that there was a full kitchen and the tv was on an adjustable stand so we could move it to face the bed, living room space or kitchen area easily.

They would not bring anything to the room, when we asked for extra towels they had us come to the front desk where we were consistently in contact with other customers which I wasn’t a fan of but I understand. There was also no dishes to use in the oven, only a single baking sheet. There also wasn’t any dish soap, kitchen soap or sponges to wash the dishes with but there was a dishwasher. The dishes were also dirty when we got to our room so we had to clean them before using them. All small things but could be very inconvenient for a longer stay.
