River Rapids Inn

The view of the gorge. From 405, I can even see the whirlpool. There is no elevator but the 4th floor is just two levels from the back parking lot. The room is spacious, comfortable, and quiet. I reserved a fridge and a microwave and they delivered it immediately upon my checking in. The breakfast is sufficient to get one ready for the day. The staff is great

There are only two small lamps in the big room. Please install more lights.

stay for a hockey tournament and the staff were very accommodating. opened complimentary breakfast early for the teams!

- Extremely helpful staff - Breakfast is good enough: bacon/sausages, omelette, apples, oranges, 4 types of flakes, milk, hot waffles, juices, tea/coffee, toasts w Philadelphia cheese and jam, maple syrup, yogurt, mini muffins - Clean - Good location - Quiet enough - Pool and sauna - Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV in the room - Fast wifi - Snacks on arrival: water and chips - No bad smell and quiet room

- Hotel is not brand new, so some things look slightly worn out - AC/Heater unit in our room was loud so we had to turn it off for the night

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was good size and clean. Parking was including the price and on property. Even has a sauna by the indoor pool. Very close to downtown with car or you can hop on public transportation (bus) which is right by the side of the hotel. Also free Wi-Fi

Didn't realize there was no elevator and we stayed on the 4th floor. Breakfast was not great, but it was including the price so can't really complain, coffee was good. Tried IHOP once and it was very very expensive (paid $70 US currency for the 2 of us), which was a shock to me.

The motel has two sections...one old and closed down....I saw thus first and was concerned that I was scammed. However, I drove around the bend in the toad to find the right entrance. The motel is very clean, the rooms updated and spacious, the staff were all fantastic. A great stay. There was also a great selection for breakfast. The two young ladies working there were great at ensuring everyone followed the health guidelines...very clean.

Didn't use the pool as the area felt like a sauna...too hot! However, the kids really seemed ti be enjoying themselves 😀

I love the location, it’s quiet, accessible (wego retailer and bus stop 5 min away), downtown is walkable. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the room and overall building and facilities were spacious and clean and quiet. The balcony, pool and sauna were a nice touch.

I didn’t like the blankets in the room, the scrambled eggs were too scrambled, the breakfast room was really small considering how busy it was (maybe set up some seating outside), consider offering more fruit at breakfast.

Breakfast was good. Nice having it until 10am and the provided gloves put our mind at ease during Covid. Good pool and large room. Everything was very clean which was important to us. The shuttle was $10 for 24 hrs so we chose to drive and park because parking down by the action was so reasonable. We walked to the aerocar and white water walk because both were so close to the Inn.

The bathroom door dragged on the floor and made noise opening or trying to close it.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The property is older but very clean and well looked after. The bed was very comfy! A very nice breakfast was available in the morning. Since my first stay here, the breakfast room has been renovated and it is very bright and spacious. The staff that I met were all professionally cheerful and were ready to answer my questions. The only minor consideration to keep in mind is that, if you are not driving your own vehicle, you will need a taxi to get to the tourist area of Niagara Falls. I will absolutely stay here again.

The air conditioning unit in my room was a little loud.

Excellent location! Close to Niagara Falls and parks without being in the most touristy part.

Not many outlets in the rooms. We had to unplug the lamps to charge our devices at night.

The bedroom was nice. Very clean. We had a view of the river, was lovely. Nice to have complimentary water. Wasn't sure what to expect for breakfast, it was very good. Simple offerings, but fresh and good to eat. The server was very helpful also and made us fresh thank you Sheila! The lower renovation looks promising, we hope to return in the summer!

The front lobby was in need of a good sweep and mop. The parking was a bit sparse in front of the building. Maybe more signage for entrance, might be nicer for guests.
