Delta Hotels by Marriott Saskatoon Downtown

the room were comfortable,cozy and quiet. indoor parking kept my vehicle warm and made the stay enjoyable.

the front desk person was very rude and had no manners and made me want to almost get a refund cause I didn’t want to spend my money on a place where I did not feel welcome. I felt bad after just because how he treated me. I heard how nice the lady was next to him treating a guest then the guy was not treating me the same, but rather, like I was not a welcomed guest. I’ve stayed at the hotel many times and the staff has always went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable which is one of the reasons I keep coming back. but this one worker was very rude and I’ve never dealt with him before and hope I never deal again with him again

The location of the hotel and the room. Staff were very friendly and professional. All noticeable areas were clean. Our room was clean and the view was perfect overlooking the river. As a coffee lover there could have been more than one packet of coffee especially for the morning, since there was two of us in the room.

The pool. There was so much chlorine we could smell it in the hallway. When we entered the pool area it was extremely stong, it felt like our eyes were burning and we hadn't even entered the water. The echo was extremely loud it was deafening. We just turned around and left as we were having difficulty breathing and with our eyes.

The location was great,we had large room with river view.Surprised how quiet the room was as the rooms either side were occupied.Didn't even notice noise in hallway.Extremely clean hotel.

A bit of wait the one morning for coffee.To be fair it was busy,but someone took our order for coffee,then our server noticed we hadn't gotten our coffee,went to bring it.She had not taken order.Despite being busy,our food order came quickly,server was very attentive,plesant.

The food was excellent and the staff were all friendly. Proximity to everything was Top Notch but it was a real Downer with all the homeless people around I did not feel safe walking alone at night or even going through all the heavy trees by myself even during the day.

Although it is not the fault of the hotel the homeless issue nearby is very much a deterrent for a return trip for me

Beds are comfy, the kids love the pool, and the decor is nice. The hotel is close to the river, so that's a bonus in the summer.

Booking.com's pictures lied to us. We thought we were getting the River Room suite, which is their biggest room, but we got their smallest suite. That made it difficult to host my son's birthday party there. Their tv system sucks too. It is so controlling. You can't connect a video game console. The remote for the tv by the bed kept changing the channel on the tv in the sitting area too. Really annoying.

Very fast check in, check out was also quick and easy. We parked underground and I liked the convenience of going between our car and room without needing to go through any public places, which is nice during covid when we personally try to avoid crowded places.

We needed the A/C to cool down the room, we definitely couldn't have it going at night as it was exceptionally loud. It made 2 very loud clunking noises every time it shut off. Wasn't a huge deal though, we just made a point cooling down the room before we went to sleep. Other than that everything was great.

Because it was Fireworks weekend, the hotel staff should have been aware of where the fireworks( for the festival going on adjacent to hotel) were being set off. This would have saved them some room movement , we got moved to accommodate us for the fireworks and the building blocked the bridge that they were being set off from and we couldn’t see a thing.

I’ve stayed at this property many many times over the last 15 years for both business and personal the recent upgrades and remodeling turned out to be really well done the lobby and entrance look great wide open more modern look. staff was friendly understanding of the recent pandemic it was tougher to get the rooms serviced but not a big deal would’ve been nice to have more coffee in the room rather than just one cup for two adults in the room. Location is deadly being down town close to piles of shopping and restaurants

Only thing the AC unit seem to be loud woke up numerous times throughout the night due to it

The rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. It’s a great hotel for downtown events. We were at rock the river and it was awesome that the lounge/restaurant stayed open to accommodate guests for food after the event ! Well done ! And thank you

Delightful. Toasted English muffin and absolutely wonderful Saskatoon berry jam. Had forgotten how great it was.

Girl at check in was a little cool. Had to ask for maps for area and wasn’t very friendly. Still give 5 as rest of staff were great.
