Park Town Hotel

The property was located a short walk away from the university campus which was convenient for me, and also a short enough walk to the downtown shopping centre. The room was comfortable. The staff were great, helpful and always present when needed. I was able to drop off my suit at the desk for cleaning and had it returned to my room the same day which was very helpful.

There were near constant sirens from ambulance and/or police going on the street next to the hotel. I don’t know if it’s always like this at this location, but it seemed like a bit much. Still, it didn’t wake me up during the night, surprisingly. I guess nothing can be done for it, it’s just the way it is. It was still well worth the visit.

Loved the underground parking! The room was clean and comfortable. The Restaurant was fantastic, two nights in a row. Our Server Grace was extra special, very personable and remembered us the second night, right down to our names and what drinks we had ordered the night before!

Everything was great, but a microwave would have been nice in our room. We had leftover food from the restaurant and it would have been nice to heat it up the next day.

location location, it worked ideal for a means. Food was excellent, service by the ladies was top notch, I can only say by what was served, you best take care of your kitchen employee's, good ones like the ones that cooked for us, very hard to find. I tip my hat to them all. I'll add, I'm not a big traveler, and I'm not use too people waiting on me, I kinda feel uncomfortable, I'm not any more special than they are, so thanks again.

The room was nice, and clean. Excellent Jacuzzi tub. Huge comfy king size bed was awesome! Best pillows! The staff was wonderful in every encounter. The security was especially good, there was always at least one guy keeping an eye on the property and parking lot.

We found broken glass in the shower drain that we ended up cleaning out ourselves because it did not get taken care of that day. The room was quite small for the cost.

The location / setting of the hotel is wonderful. The pathway system along the river is right outside the door. The views from the restaurant are excellent. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food selection was limited but certainly tasty and well presented.

The pillows only came in one size, which was unfortunately thicker than I like as a back sleeper. I used the pillow off the chair with a towel over it. That worked fine.

The restaurant is great, with a nice view of the river. On a beautiful night, it is a nice walk to downtown. Unfortunately I didn't get to use the pool this time, but it is heated, which is great. Also a nice size hot tub. The room was clean and quiet.

I didn't find anything to dislike. The rooms are a bit smaller than most in Saskatoon, but I don't think is a problem.

Convenient location, good selection of streaming apps on the TV. Lovely comfortable room with vaulted ceiling. The food was very good, excellent room service.

The only 3-prong electrical outlet was behind the desk. so had to pull out the desk to plug in my laptop, then no internet most of the time. There were always random people hanging around the parking lot/parade area, so that made me a little uncomfortable, but had no problem.

The staff were incredible, very polite and helpful. The food was delicious. We had the romance package and it was absolutely perfect. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful, we highly recommend the jacuzzi suite! And also, the security staff, they were so helpful when we could not find a parking spot with our big truck and allowed us to use their parking spot; we could not thank them enough!

Everything was great minus the parking lot, it is definitely not meant for trucks. We live in a small town and we drive our truck everywhere, the hotel was quite busy but there were a lot of small cars parked in the parking lot instead of the parkade. I think that the hotel should mandate cars and smaller vehicles to use the parkade and let trucks and vans and bigger vehicles use the outer parking lot. HOWEVER, the hotel had amazing security staff that let us use their parking spot and were the heros of the night!

The location was really good, close to everything, I enjoyed my stay.

Only things I could say to improve on is the first night I could see sparks in my room from the static in the bedding and the girl with the blue hair who checked us in was not real friendly, she could work on her customer service skills.

The pool was really warm for a hotel so we were able to swim a long time. Hot tub was nice and working. Location superb to walk along the river. Also close to the Nutrien playground which had an awesome zip line the kids loved. As we were running late on arrival the Hotel staff drove us to the Prairie Lily with the shuttle which was super thoughtful; we were able to walk back and enjoy the pathways. 9 overall only because restaurant onsite is poorly staffed in terms of numbers (believe this to be Covid related). Restaurant staff very nice just not enough of them and line ups to get in result (20 minute wait). Once this is rectified would be a 10.

Need more restaurant staffing. Lots of seats remain empty as not enough staff to service.
