when you pay with dollars, you expect at least the change. i never got the 10 USD back and had to give it to another guest as it was not provided. i got the feeling i was blamed for their own internal bad communication over the weekend,

Staff is superfriendly. A room is small but comfy and cleaned everyday. For guests kitchen is at disposable any time of the day so you might cook if you need to.

I wish wifi would be available in rooms too.

Good location, near metro Santa Ana, and plaza de Armas. WI fi was good. The rooms are not big but beds are comfortable. Clean and safe with friendly and helpful staff

One of the cheaper options in the city. Bed was okay.

Fire truck station a few doors down so noise all night if your a light sleeper.

Very close to the metro station Santa Ana. It's possible to go downtown by walking. The room is small but very cozy. Staff is helpfull and always willing to help. Bathroom is ok. They also offer breakfast, there aren't a lot of options but it's totally acceptable considering the price and the city's cost - Santiago is an expensive city!

Every single time that we needed to get out we should hand the key back to the reception and when need to get back for the hostel and also for the room we should ask for opening the doors and ask for the room's key as well.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hostel not busy so plenty of common space and little garden peaceful. In good location to walk into central city and to museums. Perfect for few nights stay so long as you don't expect chic but price reflects this.

No homely touches a bit institutional

Very close to a Metro station and a short walk to Plaza de Armas. The staff was wonderful! The eating area was a good spot for our grocery store evening meals.

We had no power or hot water one night because of massive rain—no one’s fault, but inconvenient.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The front desk was great as was the cleaning staff.

The wifi is as if it's 1995 and you're working with a 28800 baud modem. I swear I heard the squirrel sound of dial-up. I had to use the adjoining pizza hut wifi half the time. Also it looks nothing like the picture. Run down and grungy.

1 toilet for 11 rooms. The cleaning lady had all doors open and was going from room to room to clean. when I asked her to only have my door open when she was in my room it caused a huge argument. I talked to the front desk woman and it caused a huge argument with her as well. when I told the manner about it he was nice and apologized but too little too late.
