ibis Santiago Estacion Central

The rooms are small, but efficient. The bathroom was larger than Ibis we stayed at in Europe. The breakfast was much better than expected. We only stayed one night but the proximity to the bus station made it the perfect stay for transit.

You can hear the noise from the city, but it didn't really bother our sleep. From the 6th floor, it was not a big deal.

it was very safe in a chaotic area of the city. The safe taxi ride to the airport was a miracle! My stay at Ibis was fantastic! I arrived in Santiago by bus in the early evening. The bus station is chaotic and not the kind of place you want to hang around arranging a cab ride. This Ibis is a clean, comfortable and Safe oasis in a bus station area. The front door is less than a block away and once inside, you are perfectly safe. There is a clean, bright lounge area where I ordered food & wine and had WiFi to manage my travels. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. In the morning the front desk arranged an airport taxi for me that left from a secured area. Ibis does it again! They helped me in Tokyo a few years ago and they came thru again in Santiago. If you’re arriving in Santiago by bus, stay here. It works perfectly!

The property is more than I expected. The bus station nearby was kind of crazy, but I took the bus and needed a safe clean hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. Suited our purpose as over the road from the bus station for an early start. Simple but tasty meals in the restaurant. Best steak I'd had all trip. Standard hotel breakfast.

Restaurant not open until 7 pm, limited drink choices., No red wine. No gin...not a huge problem but when you ask family to have dinner with you and their choices are not available is inconvenient. Very busy corner traffic wise which meant road noise where our room was situated.

Christina from the front desk was amazing. she helped us with translation & advising us on what to see. Ryan at the front desk was also totally amazing.

Being Canadian I am used to a coffee maker in my room - however I would be more than happy to go to restaurant and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Was very upset that there is a posting in elevator to enjoy a welcome drink on Ibis only to order this & be told it was for members only. It does NOT say that on the sign in elevator!!!!

There is a good bus service from the airport to the central bus station, right next to the hotel, which saves having to contend with airport cab drivers. The hotel was a fairly standard american-style chain hotel, which was kind of reassuring in the depressed area of downtown Santiago. And a good buffet breakfast in the morning.

Great location for the bus terminal or the public bus to the airport and all the interesting shops around Alameda and Estacion Central. Very comfortable modern rooms with an amazing shower. Very fairly priced for what you get.

It isn't necessarily an issue for many, but it isn't the safest area late at night if you plan to be out late.

Perfect location almost on top of the 3 main busstations of Santiago. Great connection to the Airport with Turbus. Friendly staff, good breakfast, room is big enough and clean bathroom. Great value for money

Personally I am not a fan of rainshowers and a glass in the bathroom would be convenient

The staff was tremendous. The room had good space and the bathroom had good counter space. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast available in the internal restaurant was very good with a very good selection of food choices.

The variety of people on the streets outside the hotel is large and one needs to pay close attention to your possessions.

The room was extremely comfortable with all the modern touches. The bathroom was renovated and modern with a dream shower. Excellent location for the bus to Valparaiso or any other longer route and also the Turbus airport shuttle bus.

The neighborhood is a bit chaotic and not the safest to be walking around after dark, but the hotel has good security.

Room, location, cleanliness, breakfast, and use of desk top in public lobby.

The shower head was not moveable and it took a while to adjust the temperature of the shower. Also, too much automobile noise outside my window which overlooked a side street next to some retail outlets.
